An overturned car is causing traffic disruption on the M8.
The vehicle is affecting movement on the westbound road near junction 6A.
Traffic Scotland[1] has warned that drivers can expect delays and tailbacks.
Vehicles can pass using the chevrons, but no traffic cannot join the motorway from the westbound entry slip road.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We received a report of a crash involving two cars on the M8 at junction 6 westbound, around 7.50am on Wednesday, August 30, 2023.
“Emergency services are in attendance.
“The M8 westbound is closed between junction six and junction seven. Diversions are in place.”
It is not yet known if there are any injuries.
The Scottish Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
