Live: M5 rush hour traffic stopped after car flips

M5 drivers travelling on the southbound carriageway in Somerset were held after a car overturned. According to traffic monitoring service Inrix, traffic was queueing in the area following the incident near J21 Weston-super-Mare.

Two lanes were shut on the motorway and reports suggested all traffic was being held.

Inrix reports: "All traffic being temporarily held and queueing traffic due to overturned car on M5 Southbound after J21 A370 (Weston-super-mare). Held since 07.10."

Traffic cleared at around 8am.
