Live: M4 rush hour delays as crash closes motorway lane

A lane was closed with slow moving traffic on the M4 eastbound following a crash during rush hour on Thursday. At 5.15pm traffic was starting to build between junction 19 and junction 18 on the motorway, with more delays as rush hour continued.

Commuters were affected between Bristol and Bath. Traffic monitoring system Inrix reported at 5.20pm: "One lane closed and queueing traffic due to accident on M4 Eastbound from J19 M32 (Bristol) to J18 A46 (Bath/Tormarton)."

The crash had been cleared by 6.30pm.
