Live: Busy Tiverton A-road near M5 after van overturns

The A361 in Tiverton has reopened following a multi-vehicle collision that left a van on its side.

The incident happened sometime before 4.10pm between A396 (Sampford Peverell turn-off, Tiverton) and M5 J27 (Tiverton, Sampford Peverell). Vehicles heading towards the M5 have been affected.

An eyewitness told DevonLive: "a van is turned over on its side heading towards junction 27 from Tiverton."

However the road soon cleared after.

It's unclear if anyone has been injured by the impact. Devon and Cornwall Police have been approached for more information.
