Man shouts ‘I better not find this on Facebook’ as lorry tips

A council worker shouted "I better not find this on Facebook" after a member of the public filmed his tipped over bin lorry.
A member of the public was driving along Moorfield Lane in Scarisbrick, Lancashire, on Tuesday, July 18, when they saw a West Lancashire Borough Council bin lorry stranded sideways in a ditch. The person stopped their car and joked with crew that they "can't park that there".
Taking it in good spirits, one worker responded: "You can f*** off. I better not find that on f***ing Facebook or TikTok tonight." A council spokesperson said no-one was seriously hurt in the incident, LancsLive reports[1].
The vehicle was traveling on the narrow road due to Heaton's Bridge Road - a main route through Scarisbrick in West Lancashire[3] - being closed by roadworks.
A spokesperson for WLBC said: "We can confirm an incident occurred with one of our waste fleet vehicles on Moorfield Lane, Scarisbrick, on Tuesday, July 18. While the vehicle was travelling along the narrow road in wet conditions, it slipped into a ditch while negotiating oncoming traffic.
"No one was seriously injured but one operative was taken to an NHS[4] Walk-In centre as a precaution. Council officers attended the scene to make sure those involved were safe and supported. The area was cordoned off with traffic cones until the recovery of the vehicle could take place."
The decision to close the road with little notice sparked anger among villagers[5] and led to safety concerns that an accident such as this could happen. The full closure has now been replaced with temporary traffic lights[6].
