M6 and M56 motorway closures starting July 10

Parts of the M6 and M56 motorways will close over the coming week.

Motorways in Merseyside will see closures this week (Monday, July 10 – Sunday, July 16) as National Highways continue to repair the region’s roads. This week there are no weekend closures planned according to the National Highways journey planning tool.

Here are the motorway closures you can expect in Merseyside this week.

Monday, July 10

The M6 northbound between junctions 21A and 26 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.

The M6 southbound between junctions 21A and 23 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.

Tuesday, July 11

The M6 northbound between junctions 21A and 26 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.

The M6 southbound between junctions 21A and 23 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.

Wednesday, July 12

The M6 northbound between junctions 21A and 26 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.

The M6 southbound between junctions 21A and 26 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.

The M56 westbound between junctions 11 and 12 will have two lanes closed between 8pm and 6am.

Thursday, July 13

The M6 northbound between junctions 21A and 26 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.

The M6 southbound between junctions 21A and 26 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.

The M56 westbound between junctions 11 and 12 will have two lanes closed between 8pm and 6am.

Friday, July 14

The M6 northbound between junctions 21A and 26 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.

The M6 southbound between junctions 21A and 23 will be closed between 9pm and 6am.

Saturday, July 15

No closures
