Live: Traffic at a standstill on M5 near Tiverton

It's the end of the working week and as the weekend edges ever closer, roads across the county are set to fill up. There are reports of some delays across Devon due to roadworks and crashes.

The A38 is currently shut at Ashburton due to a collision involving two lorries. According to National Highways, the road is shut on the westbound carriageway between the A382 Drumbridges Roundabout and Newton Abbot as a recovery operation is underway.

The road is set to remain shut for most of the morning.

There are reports of delays on the A380 in Paignton due to roadworks. Roads traffic and monitoring service, Inrix reports: "Queueing traffic on A380 Kings Ash Road Southbound at A385 Totnes Road (Tweenaway Cross). In the roadworks area."
