Exeter Airport parking rules including £5 charge drivers need to know
The summer holiday season is fast approaching and millions of Brits are expected to fly abroad this year for a getaway. While travelling can already be quite expensive and stressful on its own, finding a place to park at a reasonable price that’s close to the airport can prove to be a challenge.
Exeter Airport is the perfect place for short international flights. With a range of amazing destinations, your next holiday could be closer than you think.
The airport is five miles from Exeter city centre and five minutes from the M5 motorway.
Most airports recommend booking parking in advance for anyone planning on staying longer than an hour. Pre-booking could also mean saving money on parking as discounts are often available.
If you book in advance, it is definitely worth checking comparison sites for the best deals. Prices can change daily depending on the time of year.
Exeter Airport has three car parks that can be used for short or long stays.

Car park one is a short stay car park and is used for pickup and drop off for £5 for up to 30 minutes. This car park is a one minute walk to check in. Prices do vary depending on when you will need to park, but Exeter Airport does mark this as the most convenient parking at the airport. It has drop-off and pick-up bays opposite the Main Terminal.
Car park 2 is also a short stay car park, situated slightly further from the terminal. This car park is better for those looking for a cheaper short stay.
Carpark three is the long stay car park at Exeter Airport, that has a ten minute transfer. Pre Booking is advised for all three car parks to ensure a space is available.
Blue Badge holders and drivers collecting Passengers with Reduced Mobility (PRM) may drop-off or pick-up in Car Park P1 and pick-up in Car Park P2 to collect passengers from arrivals. Stopping is not permitted on airport terminal approach roads.
All three car parks are part of the official Exeter Airport car park with Park Mark Safer Parking Scheme listing, but only car park one and two have disability bays for wheelchair Blue Badge holders.
Bookings can be made up to 2 hours prior to your arrival time at the airport. All Car Park bookings are subject to availability.

If you are getting dropped off at the airport by taxi, there is only one taxi company that is permitted to use the arrivals taxi stand. Apple Taxi Exeter is the only official airport authorised taxi company. Any other vehicle *must* be pre-booked in person or by telephone.
Other taxi companies are not permitted to use the Arrivals taxi stand but may drop-off or pick-up pre-booked clients in Car Park 1.
There are three car parks at Exeter Airport, use for each car park must be pre booked, including drop off and pick ups.
If you’re dropping friends, colleagues or loved ones at the airport or picking them up, you can park for up to 30 mins for £5, allowing you time to wave them off or greet them on return.
