Delays expected as closures announced on M4 this week
A number of closures have been announced on the M4 this week with drivers asked to expect delays. There are a host of maintenance works being carried out along the motorway.
Motorists are asked to take into account the various closures in order to avoid rushing or lateness due to delays. Areas affected include Magor, Malpas, Lon Las and Ynysforgan.

- The M4 westbound at junction 23A Magor exit slip road will be shut due to maintenance work from July 17 to July 24. The closures will happen between 8pm and 6am each day.
- The M4 eastbound at junction 26 Malpas to junction 24 Coldra will be shut due to maintenance work from July 24 to July 26. The closures will happen between 8pm and 6am each day.
- The M4 westbound at junction 44 Lon Las will be shut due to maintenance work from July 23 to July 24. The closures will happen between 8pm and 6am each day.
- The M4 westbound at junction 44 Lon Las to junction 45 Ynysforgan will be shut due to maintenance work from July 24 to July 25. The closures will happen between 8pm and 6am each day.
