All the roadworks happening in Hull in July including A63 and busy …
Several Hull roads are set to face delays over the coming days and weeks, as numerous roadworks have been scheduled.
There are a mixture of road closures, lane closures and two-way traffic signals in place while the work is going on. Busy Hull routes such as the A63 Myton Bridge, Beverley Road and Holderness Road are among those affected in July.
Works around the city are taking place for various reasons, such as the installation of telecoms poles, fixing water mains and resurfacing roads. All of these works are subject to change depending on factors such as the weather.
Access for residents will be made where possible. Here is the roundup of roadworks over the next few weeks…
Stop-go signs and two-way signals
- Argyle Street: July 3, 2023 until July 8, 2023. Trial holes to the east side of Argyle Street arches to check the condition of the arch fill. Two-way signals in place with overnight working. Work carried out by Hull City Council (Streetscene Bridges).
- Argyle Street: July 8, 2023 until July 9, 2023. Overnight repairs to steel work on underside of the bridge. Two-way signals in place. Work carried out by Network Rail.

Annandale Road: July 12, 2023 until July 25, 2023. Telecoms pole installation. Stop and go signs in place from 9.30am to 3.30pm. Work carried out by Connexin

Brighton Street: July 12, 2023 until July 14, 2023. Carriageway repair works on the Brighton Street roundabout. Multiway signals in place. Work carried out by Hull City Council.
