Furious truckies tore into a climate protester who locked herself to two cars in the middle of a busy highway in peak hour and blocks all traffic.

Blockade Australia protester Naomi Shine blocked two lanes of traffic after chaining herself to two cars on the Port of Brisbane Motorway a kilometre east of the Pritchard Road exit on Wednesday.

A livestream of the incident reportedly showed the protest turning violent, as truck drivers left their vehicles and forcibly removed some of the protesters from the road.

‘Move the f*** out of the way,’ one yelled.

Traffic could be seen snarling up for miles as police worked to remove the protestors.

Queensland Police has advised motorists to avoid the area.

It marked the third day that Blockade Australia have caused chaos by blocking Australia’s most important coal ports and a major motorway as part of coordinated protests.

One protester, associated with Blockade Australia, suspended from a rail bridge at the Port of Newcastle on Monday, while other coordinated protests were held near the Brisbane coal terminal at the Port of Brisbane and at the Port of Melbourne.

Trains carrying coal were prevented from crossing the rail bridge at the Port of Newcastle due to the woman’s protest.

Blockade Australia said the protest at the Kooragang island terminals at Port of Newcastle was ‘blocking all trains at the most significant economic bottleneck of the coal industry in the world’.

‘This is a coordinated response to Australia’s destruction of the global climate,’ the group said.
