‘Serious’ Preston Crowmarsh crash leaves motorcyclist in hospital

A man in his 70s is in hospital after a ‘serious’ crash in Oxfordshire. The man, a motorcyclist, sustained injuries in a collision in the village of Preston Crowmarsh.

Police have now launched an appeal following the incident on Sunday, June 11. At 4.37pm, a collision[1] occurred on the B4074 at the junction of Preston Crowmarsh, between a black Vauxhall Insignia and a black and grey BMW motorcycle.

The motorcyclist remains in hospital[2] in a serious but stable condition. No one else was injured during the collision.

Thames Valley Police[4] are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the crash or to anyone who might have dashcam footage to contact. Investigating officer PC Craig Ridgley of the Joint Operations Roads Policing Unit said: “We are investigating the circumstances of this collision and are appealing for the public to come forward with any information.

“We are asking anyone with witness information or dash-cam or other footage to please provide information through our online pages[5] or by calling 101 quoting reference 43230256552.”
