M8 motorway CLOSED as heavy rain sparks flood chaos
PARTS of the M8 motorway were forced to close after heavy rain sparked flood chaos.
Traffic Scotland announced the westbound lanes at junction 20 at the Kingston Bridge were shut down.

It comes as torrential downpours and days worth of rain battered Glasgow[1] tonight.
Traffic bosses later reopened one lane to allow motorists to get moving.
Motorists are still facing a 21-minute delay due to the closure as traffic slowly gets moving.
Roads across the city have been hit with flash floods and rail travel has seen disruption, with trains unable to use a major route[2].
The weather also forced Scotland’s clash with Georgia at Hampden to be suspended for 90 minutes.
