M6 delays around Wednesbury after lorry sheds load

Delays are mounting on the M6 after a lorry shed its load. The incident has taken place on the southbound carriageway of the motorway at Junction 9 in Wednesbury^[1].

One lane has been closed, resulting in a slow-moving traffic. The traffic monitoring service Inrix said: "One lane closed and slow traffic due to shed load on M6 Southbound at J9 A461 Wood Green Road."

Traffic appeared to be moving along normally according to motorway cameras. Live Traffic - M6 also tweeted: "J9 southbound exit (Wednesbury) - Shed Load."
