M4 live updates as serious crash closes M5 entry sliproad

The section of road that links the M5 and M4 near Bristol was closed after a vehicle[1], believed to be a lorry, "left the carriageway". The incident happened around junction 15 on the M5 northbound carriageway[2] sometime before 8.30pm.
As a result, the link road between the M4 junction 20 eastbound and the M5 junction 15 northbound was closed by emergency services. Drivers were advised to continue to M4 junction 19 and return in order to get onto the M5.
At this time it is unclear how serious this incident is or if anyone has suffered injuries. GloucestershireLive has contacted Avon and Somerset Police for further information. The two lanes on the sliproad that had been closed had opened by 10pm.
