Live: M48 rush hour crash closes lane and causes traffic chaos
A lane has been closed on the M48 following a crash during the rush hour period tonight (Friday). The incident has been reported on the Welsh side of the Severn Bridge and is causing delays.
Traffic[1] monitoring website Inrix says the lane closure has been put in place between the junction with the M4 and junction two for Chepstow. A post on the site says the crash has occurred on the Bristol-bound carriageway.
Inrix adds queues have been reported following the crash. Traffic Wales South says lane one has been closed.
