Live: M3 closed between J2 and J3 due to multi-vehicle collision

The M3 westbound between Junction 2 (M25) and Junction 3 (A322, Lightwater) has been reopened following a multi-vehicle collision in the early hours of this morning (Thursday, June 8).

A lorry had overturned in the incident and there were heavy queues along that stretch of motorway, with emergency services rushing to the scene.

Long delays were expected, but the recovery and clean-up work has been completed, with all lanes back open again.
