All the Parklife 2023 road closures this weekend

With the arrival of 80,000 party-goers over the Parklife 2023 weekend, roads around the site will be closed, as well as some motorway junctions too. Here’s a rundown of the closures in full…

Road Closures

Middleton Road

It will be closed to all traffic (including residential permit holders) from Heywood Old Road to Sheepfoot Lane in both directions, from 7pm to 2am on 10 and 11 June. It’s also closed from the junction of Victoria Avenue to Crumpsall Lane in both directions from 8pm to 1am on

9, 10 and 11 June.

M60 Junction 19

Junction 19 of the M60, all exits and entrances will be closed on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 June from 7pm to 2am, except for the anticlockwise slip road onto the M60.

Sheepfoot Lane

Dynamic closure may be required both eastbound and westbound from the junction of Bury Old Road to Middleton Road from 10am to 4pm on 9, 10 and 11 June to maintain pedestrian safety. It’s also closed from the junction of Bury Old Road to Middleton

Road in both directions, from 8pm to 1am on 9, 10 and 11 June.

Blackley New Road

Closed from the junction of Riverdale Road to Middleton Road in both directions from 8pm to 1am on 9, 10 and 11 June.

Meade Hill Road

Closed from the junction of Middleton Road to Sheepfoot Lane in both directions from 8pm to 1am on 9, 10 and 11 June.

Bury Old Road

Closed from the junction of Scholes Lane/Sheepfoot Lane to the junction of Whittaker Lane in both directions from 8pm to 1am on 9, 10 and 11 June.

During the road closures, residential access will only be whilst safe to do so. At times, roads will be closed to all traffic, including permit holders to help with the dispersal of festival goers.

One Way Systems

Whittaker Lane

Open to westbound traffic only from the junction of Bury Old Road to the junction of Heywood Road from 8pm to 1am on 9, 10 and 11. June. All traffic must follow the direction of the one way.

Victoria Avenue

Open to Westbound traffic only from the junction of Tweedle Hill Road to the junction of Middleton Road from 7pm to 2am on 10 and 11 June.
