Accident on M2 London-bound between Faversham and Sittingbourne

Traffic is being temporarily held on a motorway following an accident.

There are currently long delays on the M2 London-bound as a result.

The accident is reported to have happened at around 6.43pm, between Junction 6 A251 Ashford Road for Faversham^[1] and Junction 5 A249 for the Stockbury Roundabout in Sittingbourne^[2].

There’s conjestion of up to four miles.
