3 charged with drugs offences after ‘incident’ on M58
Police say a travelling along the motorway towards Merseyside was stopped by officers on Friday, June 9.
It led to the discovery of a large quantity of suspected Class A drugs.
Police name three charged
In a statement, Merseyside Police said David Whiteside, 33, of Halton Lodge Avenue, Runcorn; Lisa Armstrong, 53, of Barn Hey Road, Kirkby; and Chloe Armstrong, 21, of Barn Hey Road, Kirkby, have all been charged with possession with intent to supply a controlled Class A drug (cocaine).
Whiteside and Chloe Armstrong were also charged with acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.
All three were due to appear at magistrates courts today (Monday, June 12).
