Woman dies in motorhome crash that shut A14 in both directions in …

A woman has died in a crash on the A14 at Brampton Interchange this morning (Saturday, May 20). The crash involved a motorhome and no other vehicles.

Police were called just before 10.40am with reports of the collision. The road was closed between junction 22 and junction 21 while the air ambulance attended and recovery work took place.

The road has now reopened in both directions. Traffic is flowing freely, according to National Highways.

A spokesperson from Cambridgeshire Constabulary said: “We have been at the scene of a fatal collision on the A14 at Brampton interchange involving a single vehicle. We were called at just before 10.40am with reports of the collision, where sadly a woman has died.

“The road was closed in both directions but has since reopened. Further information will be released proactively in the coming days.”
