Driver and passenger seriously hurt after crash with lorry on A1(M)

The A1(M) was closed for two hours on Friday, March 31, after a car crash which saw the occupants of a car suffer serious injuries. Now, North Yorkshire Police[1] are appealing for information and dashcam footage of the accident which happened just before junction 49 (Dishforth Interchange) at 5.50am. A white Fiat 500 crashed into a HGV.

The occupants of the Fiat 500 suffered “serious” injuries in the crash and were taken to hospital. This resulted in a stretch of the A1(M) being closed for two hours while the police conducted their accident investigation work. North Yorkshire Police said: “North Yorkshire Police is appealing for witnesses and information in relation to a road traffic collision that occurred on A1(M).
