Great product, for iPhones just download the TOPGURU app, plug in the TOPDON TopScan Master OBD2 scanner into the car and follow the simple instructions, it is compatible with all major car manufacturers. Ideal for identifying and reading and clearing codes via Bluetooth. Very well made with clear LED lights on the unit makes it easy to see any activation and connection. Can easily pay for itself in comparison with costly garage diagnostic costs.
I’m used to using plug in scanners so this was a first for me. However the device seems to work as expected. Scans take a little time. Using it on a 2008 vw golf it took a while on some catagories during scans to realise that item wasn’t there (sunroof) for example it was trying to scan but there was nothing to scan. Apart from that seems to work well. Vast list of available manufacturers it’s compatible with. I’ve only downloaded vw so far and that was a big file.
As I say though it works well for what it’s designed for and I’ve identified faults I didn’t know I had. Yet to try the performance function properly yet. But interested to see how that works. Will update when I get a chance
When you do a full scan it saves the full report so you can go back to it too which is a nice feature.
All in all for a Bluetooth scanner it seems to do what it says on the box and being nice and small you can leave it in the glovebox for when it’s needed.
Absolutely amazing bit of kit can do more than any other iv used I use the powerful phoenix plus in the garage but it’s a large bit of kit when you’re out on a breakdown the topscan master is easy and convenient and extremely powerful the bi direction function and live data make diagnosis much faster the additional ai is extremely useful even for a seasoned mechanic all in all I would highly recommend this unit for anyone needing a powerful and compact diagnostic tool well deserving of a 5 star review as a side note when buying a car people don’t like it when you pull out a big diagnostic tablet but don’t seem concerned with this one making it perfect for checking that new car without upsetting the selle
Semplicemente Fantastico!
Lo scorso anno, avevo gi comprato la versione pi economica e mi era gi piaciuto molto, perch mi permetteva di evidenziare e cancellare molti errori in centralina, spesso con la spia motore accesa ma, a seguito di un problema software l’ho reso preso il TopScan Master, con molte funzioni in pi rispetto al precedente. Sono soddisfattissimo e mi sento quasi un meccanico, sopratutto perch, essendo appassionato di meccanica, lo utilizzo frequentemente , riuscendo non solo ad individuarne gli errori in centralina ma a correggerli e sostituire anche pezzi elettronici malfunzionamenti. Ho messo in conto anche il costo dell’abbonamento annuale di circa 120/140 l’anno, non ricordo con esattezza, ma considerato che ogni diagnosi dal meccanico, quando c’ qualche problema, si spendono 25/30 , oltre a considerare attese varie per la stessa diagnosi, ritengo di non poterne pi farne senza, anche perch in famiglia abbiamo diverse auto e diventa un notevole risparmio. Aggiungo che spesso eseguo diagnosi anche ai miei amici, con grande soddisfazione e precisione. Inoltre, quando il codice di errore in centralina sconosciuto, tramite applicazione sullo smartphone, riesco a collegarmi in internet con un semplice clic sul pulsante della schermata, mentre sono in diagnosi. conoscere il problema e leggere, come stato risolto da altri utenti. Eventualmente, si pu interrogare, tramite altro tasto accanto al precedente , l’intelligenza artificiale che suggerisce il da farsi. Molto, molto, interessante, istruttivo, ed economicamente vantaggioso.

Fazit:
Ein sehr leistungsstarkes, kompaktes und zukunftssicheres Diagnosegert, das Funktionen bietet, die man sonst nur aus der Werkstatt kennt. Besonders die Kombination aus bidirektionalen Tests, KI-Support und kabelloser Nutzung macht es zu einem echten Highlight. Von mir gibt es ganz klar fnf Sterne.
I was very surprised how good this was for being the size that it is just download the app and do everything off my phone. My big diagnostic machine is not needed now I am very impressed
Only had the tool 1 day. Easy to upload software to my phone and easy to use but I’m used to scanners. Bought to check an Add Blue issue with my Peugeot boxer. Add blue injector nozzle cleaned of carbon deposits, cleared the codes and carried out an exhaust regen. Very impressive tool. I downloaded just of few of the manufacturers software but a great catalog to go at. Just follow the instructions and your good to go
If you want an all in one diagnostics that can handle anything then this is the product for you. I’ve used this 5 times in the last week and it’s excelled in every challenge.
Ultra portable good value for money has all the features you could ever want to diagnose dtc’s and perform service tasks. Connectivity to vehicle allows bi directional control and saves a huge amount of time being able to text components before taking time removing them.
Very happy with this product. Connects to my iPad perfectly and really is a very well designed app that’s easy to use.
