For a 70 year old with a bad back, this is a brilliant bit of kit. Worked straight out the box and raised the side of the car to 420mm, so that – with axle stands – I could get under and fix my starter motor.
Had job getting back up but thats my problem, not the jacks
Lifts my VW T6 California Ocean wheel no problem but probably not as stable as a half decent trolley jack. Don’t bother with the cheap pressed steel trolley jacks, they bend real easy.
Works great. Used on a range Rover as the trolley jack I had could not vope and took a lot of leverage to work. This jack was great and was sturdy on its platform. I would not go back to a trolley jack at all after this. Very controllable switch so you can get it perfect to the height for assembling components.
When I first purchased this electric 5 ton jack I must admit I wasn’t happy with it. But after communication with Seeii it has grown on me. So much so I have relegated my trolly jack back into my garage. It has made my van much lighter and this electric jack is so easy to load and carry. I did have a whisper that Seesii were developing one with a remote control. This would make it even easier to work with. Also all my customers are quite impressed when I bring out a little box and I lift their large cars and vans with ease. These should always be used with axle stands for extra security. Sometimes vehicles are rather low, so in that case I do use a smal jack to lift enough to put my electric jack under. I am really looking forward to the remote control Seesii jack.
