Bought this for my 2014 c4 picasso as I was fed up with garages. I’m not a mechanic but this is really good, does dpf regen, dpf change/reset, live data shows dpf pressure, soot and carbon, last regen etc. Eolys fluid reset etc. Just good for checking cars health, hopefully catch problems before they break.
Brilliant piece of kit picked up fault on my abs straight away highlighted which one was at fault saves taking all wheels off to find out which one was at fault very easy to use plus the bonus of free updates good clear instructions well pleased

A nice piece of kit.Used so far to address problems with a 20 year old Peugeot 407,the scanner recognised the car vin etc straight away and conducted it’s scans,actuation tests etc with only several bits of the car’s equipment not recognised,I guess due to age/obsolescence/aftermarket units fitted over the years etc.As an engineer by trade but sadly not so tech-minded it took me a while to become familiar with the unit but it’s not so difficult to navigate.Impressed and would reccomend.

I’ve been doing more of my own car maintenance lately to save on shop visits, but I kept hitting a wall whenever something more complex than a basic check engine light came up. My old code reader could pull a generic code and that was about it, no way to actually test components or dig deeper into what was really going on. The THINKSCAN 662 has basically replaced those frustrating trips to the mechanic just to get a diagnosis.
The hardware feels genuinely solid for something in this category. It’s got real weight to it, not a flimsy plastic shell, and the ergonomic shape sits comfortably in one hand even during longer diagnostic sessions under the hood or in the driver’s seat. The 6.2 inch screen is bright and sharp, and reading data streams or graphs off it in direct sunlight in my driveway hasn’t been a problem, which was actually an issue with a cheaper scanner I used before this. The combination of touchscreen and physical buttons works really well in practice too. I tend to use the touchscreen for navigating menus, but when I’m leaning into the engine bay with greasy hands, being able to mash a physical button instead of trying to tap precisely on a screen has been genuinely useful.
Performance wise, this thing does not lag or hang the way I worried it might based on past experience with budget scanners. Menus load instantly, live data streams update smoothly without stuttering, and switching between different system scans, like jumping from engine to ABS, happens almost immediately. Running on Android 8.1 with the 4-core processor and 2GB of RAM, it handles everything I’ve thrown at it so far without freezing or needing a restart mid-session.
The bidirectional control is where this scanner really separates itself from basic code readers, and it’s been the most useful feature by far. I had an issue where I suspected a sticking ABS pump, and instead of guessing, I was able to actually activate the pump directly through the scanner and confirm it was cycling correctly, which ruled that out as the problem in about two minutes. I’ve also used the active tests to cycle the A/C clutch and check fuel pump operation, and being able to command these components directly instead of just reading static codes feels like having a real diagnostic tool instead of just a fault code lookup device.
The four-system diagnostics covering engine, transmission, ABS, and SRS airbag systems has covered everything I’ve needed so far. When my airbag light came on after a minor fender bender, I was able to scan the SRS system directly, identify the specific code, and clear it myself once I confirmed there was no actual fault, saving what would have been an annoying and probably expensive dealership visit just for a light reset.
The 12 maintenance reset functions have turned out to be more useful day to day than I expected going in. I’ve used the oil reset function every time I do an oil change now instead of having to dig through the owner’s manual to figure out the dashboard reset sequence. I also used the throttle adaptation function after cleaning my throttle body, which made a noticeable difference in how smooth the idle felt afterward. The brake reset function came in handy too when I did a brake pad replacement, since some systems need that resync to recognize new pads properly.

The free lifetime updates are a nice peace of mind feature too, I’ve already gone through the one-click WiFi update process once since getting it, and it pulled in new vehicle coverage without any hassle.
Battery life on the 4150mAh battery has held up well through full diagnostic sessions without needing to keep it plugged in the whole time, though I usually keep it corded anyway when doing longer work since I’m near an outlet in the garage regardless.
This is a fantastic tool for anyone doing their own car maintenance beyond the basics, especially if you’ve been frustrated by code readers that only tell you there’s a problem without letting you actually test or fix anything. Annoyed as soon as opened the pack. Put an unnecessary sticker on the screen which isn’t an easy pull of one, leaves an awful residue which is almost impossible to get off now with thinners etc the lot. Haven’t even tried the tool yet, sure it will be ok And I’d give an 5 if that was the case but peed off as cannot remove it. Why put it there. Or at least use an easy peel vinyl not paper sticke

Les 12 rinitialisations disponibles (vidange, ABS, SRS, etc.) sont pratiques pour l’entretien courant, et la compatibilit avec plus de 140 marques est un vrai atout. La fonction AutoVIN permet de reconnatre automatiquement le vhicule, ce qui simplifie grandement l’utilisation.
Au quotidien, le scanner est trs efficace pour lire et effacer les codes erreur, ainsi que pour effectuer des tests actifs sur diffrents systmes (moteur, transmission, ABS, SRS). Ce que j’apprcie surtout, c’est la fonction bidirectionnelle, qui permet de commander des actionneurs ou de tester des composants directement depuis l’appareil. Les mises jour gratuites vie garantissent que le scanner reste compatible avec les nouveaux modles de voitures.
Par contre, faut garder en tte que certaines fonctions avances, comme le codage ECU, ne sont pas disponibles sur ce modle, mais c’est normal pour un scanner ce prix.
Au final, c’est un outil de diagnostic trs complet pour les mcaniciens amateurs ou professionnels, avec un excellent rapport qualit-prix.
