Nice and compact. Comes with its own little carry bag. Handy piece of kit for peace of mind. The battery came fully charged, and is excellent value for money compared to anything else
Bought this for use with a motorcycle that occasionally ‘has issues’!
As i have only had it a few weeks cannot comment on longevity, but this is a compact and clever little device that certainly throws the starter motor out very at pace, very pleased, hard to rate but if it lasts a year or two would get a 5* definitely recommended
What a great piece of kit, used it when my Nissan Qashqai battery went flat and just used it on my mates Ford Kuga whose main battery was down to 3.8 volts, attach this and voltage jumped to 13.9V and got his car started. Great two part design which for safety is essential. Connect clips to car battery then lithium battery to clips, reverse procedure when car started. Charges easily from an iPhone charger.
Perfect, easy to use, holds charge. Small enough to throw in the glovebox. Absolute life saver.
Loses one star for the cheap fake velvet carrying bag it came with is rubbish. Stuck it into a MOLLE admin pouch instead
Accidentally left my car lights on, so naturally car wouldn’t start. I have no membership of the recovery services, so I bought this instead as I wasn’t paying silly money for a guy to come out and use the same sort of device, or trying to flog me a new battery.
Came next morning. Did exactly what it was supposed to do. The only downside if you’ve never done this before, the instructions may not be clear as to the sequence of doing this. Follow the instructions below.
1. Open your bonnet and leave your existing battery terminals connected to the battery. Do not take them off.
2. Using the leads supplied with the jump starter, connect the red live clamp to the red (live) battery terminal. Don’t connect these leads to the jump starter yet.
3. Connect the jump starter black negative clamp to the black battery terminal.
4. Check that the jump starter is switched *off*, and the connect the supplied jump starter leads to the jump starter unit. It will only fit one way, which is the correct way.
5. Turn *on* the jump starter unit. The lights on the jump starter leads near the unit will flash. It will go green if ok. If not, turn off the jump starter unit, and do steps 7 to 9 here. Then start from step 1 again. If you still cant get it to go green, either the jump starter is faulty in some way or your battery is.
6. Start the car as you normally would. The engine should fire up.
7. Leave the engine running. Turn *off* the jump starter then disconnect the leads from the jump starter unit.
8. Disconnect the black jump starter lead from the battery.
9. Disconnect the red jump starter lead from the battery. Close the bonnet, job done, take the car for a spin =D
This was a miracle worker for my daughter and I. Do buy it, it does work and is very simple to use. We are now getting one for my husband’s car as well. Thank you JDM!
I left my dashcam on all weekend and my battery was totally flat. When this power pack turned up the same day I thought it would never start a transit connect , how wrong was I, excellent bit of kit , my van started first turn of the key , I’ll give this 10/10
Can use it straight out the box
My MX5 mk2.5 boot was slightly open by accident for a few days with the boot light on so I was going to buy a branded jumper starter around 60/90 but the diesel cars weren’t included in the 60 so I ended up buying this got posted in two days had the boot open as the delivery driver dropped it off opened it up straight away plugged it in connected the wires to the battery. It started straight away very happpy for the price haven’t tried it on a diesel yet only time will tell
