    Very powerful and an amazing product for the price
    This is a fantastic tool. It is very fast at reading and updating and everything it does. I was blown away. I tried 2 other scanners and this was my favorite by far. The screen and graphics look great as well. It is powerful. It read the information off or my CAS module that was having issues so I could order a replacement before even finding it in the vehicle to remove. It told me what the part number and software that was on it making ordering the new one simple and safe.

    It feels like a very high quality tool in your hands as well. I am very impressed. It’s amazing what you can get for this kind of money today when you used to have to pay thousands for something of a lower quality years ago.

    I did a lot of research before ordering this one, and I am very pleased with it.

    The case is great, it has the kick stand, and the Bluetooth is very nice to have.

    It will not program my replacement CAS but watching videos of how it’s done, there aren’t many that can do it and they cost 3-5K and it’s a pretty involved process with running wires to the actual circuit board. Pretty wild. So I’m not upset that this one can’t do it. You will not be disappointed with this purchase.

    If you are, then you better just go get a $1500 or more scan tool.

    I tried the biggest name scanner that is similar to this but with a stupid cable on the Bluetooth dongle, and it couldn’t even connect automatically to my Tundra, but this did easily. That other one was hard to navigate through the menus, this was very intuitive. The other one was ugly and clunky feeling. This felt like a high quality piece of equipment all the way from your hands to your eyes. I couldn’t recommend this more.

    Fast and durable uni
    The unit is fast, much faster then many other tools in my garage. I was able to go through the menu seamlessly. Carrying case is compact and light and the unit is pretty sturdy yet not too heavy. The tool is well built to withstand the busy garage floor scrutiny. It offers multiple languages and updates. Velcro straps on the carrying case are just an unneccessary annoyance in my opinion but you can cut them out easy. So far it worked well on various vehicles tested and overall experience is satisfying. It comes next to or even outpreform the popular tools and brand names out there A good value for the buck. I will update my post as I go with this tool. So far so good.

    Great Scan Tool, Has features found on high priced scan tools
    Ok, if you are reading this, then you are probably considering buying this tool. Go ahead & buy it. I am a serious DIY home mechanic. I work on all makes & models of cars. So I need a scan tool that covers all makes & models as well as perform a variety of functions. This scan tool can do that. Plus it is reasonably priced. I currently own (2) Snap On scan tools that cost $1000 for each annual update. I also own an Autel scan tool that costs $300 for an annual update. I don’t update the tools every year. It’s just too expensive. It gets to the point where I am better off buying a new scan tool. For me the VD70S scan tool fills my needs. It has 95% of the functions of a $3000 scan tool. More than most people will ever need. Plus it comes with 3 years of free updates. That’s worth the price of the scan tool. Imagine how much more advanced scan tools will be in three years.

    The bidirectional controls are a must! This was the number 1 reason that I first purchased an expensive scan tool. No need to drag out tools to provide power & grounds to components, or look up wiring diagrams. Then try to access parts either hidden under the hood or under the vehicle. You simply turn the sensors, motors, pumps, etc on & off as needed to test. When bidirectional scan tools first can out they were thousands of dollars & only the top of the line tools had them. Thank goodness that function is available on lower cost tools now.

    I love the fact that it is wireless. There are many times where I need to be under the car or under the hood. With the wireless function I can do that. The connection remains strong with no loss of connectivity up to 66 feet. Gone are the days where I laid the scan tool on the seat & ran back forth checking the readouts.

    This scan tool has 36 hot/special buttons. What are they you ask? They are functions like

    *Clutch on/off

    *Fuel pump test

    * Throttle Reset

    * Airbag Reset

    * Coolant Bleeding

    * DPF/GPF Reset

    * Power Balance

    * VGT Relearn

    * Gearbox Match

    * Headlight

    * Tire Size Reset

    * Suspension

    * Language Change

    * Window Initialization

    * A/F Reset

    * Control unit Reset

    * HV Battery

    * Rain/Light Sensor

    * Seat Calibration

    * Stop/Start Reset

    * EGR Relearn

    * Crank Sensor Relearn

    Another must have function for me in a scan tool is graphing. Not only can this tool graph 8 different functions at once, it also can graph them in multiple different displays. I have never seen any scan tool do that. I can view bar graphs or graph horizontally. I can chose to view several data pids at once or view them individually. Seeing the relationship between things like short & long term fuel trims plus oxygen sensor results tells you so much on how the engine is performing.

    The tool also has great small conveniences like the dongle has a green light to let you know you are connected to the vehicle, then changes to a blue color to let you know that you are connected to the scan tool. It also has a nice kickstand on the back that allows you to hang it on the steering wheel or connect it securely to something inside the engine bay. Believe me you don’t want to drop an expensive scan tool. Some tools don’t come with this small but important function.

    I have only had this tool for a short time but I have already used it on a variety of vehicles.

    2002 Honda Accord- fixed seat belt issue

    2007 GMC sierra- fixed TPMS sensors, power door lock

    2017 Dodge Journey- Fixed a bad ABS sensor

    Another thing that I like about this scan tool is the way the scan results are displayed. If you have a module that has a fault, it is listed at the top of the list of scanned modules. Never seen that before. See one of my photos where it shows 2 modules with faults at the top of the modules scanned.

    Once you scan a vehicle you can save a report with the faults automatically saved. The scan tool will save the results in a form that you can email to a customer & show them what problems their car has initially. Very handy when you have a customer who questions everything you say about their car. Now you have proof.

    If you are a DIY just starting out in car repairs or just don’t want to get ripped off on a repair, then you need this scan tool. It will allow you to perform repairs on your car for much cheaper than having someone else do it. It will basically pay for itself. Even if you don’t do your own repair you will know what is wrong with your car by reading the fault codes. Then you can look up what it should cost for a repair. Most if not all repair shops charge $75-$100 to read the fault codes on your car.

    I repaired the 2017 Dodge Journey with a bad ABS sensor for $100, and guaranteed it for 6 months. The customer was quoted $600 at the dealership. I was able to quote the customer a price just by reading the fault code on their car. It saves me time & money. It will do the same for you.
