- Cans have 1/2 inch coarse right hand ACME thread and work perfectly with the supplied Aircontopup hose. Engine & AC compressor must be running & switched on before attempting to add product. Once can is attached to a hose it must not be detached until empty, as it will not self seal and may still have pressure in it. Returns not accepted on deployed/pierced

Has an extended hose making it easier to reach difficult low pressure coupling locations whilst enabling the gauge to be read. Features a special connector which allows one handed connection to the car – great for tight installations. Top quality brass fittings and pressure gauge with rubber impact protection surround. Leak Sealer / Propellant – Ageing causes coolant pressure loss. This product is specially formulated to recondition shrunken seals and can help to restore system integrity. Deploy the contents of the can into a low or empty system using the manifold and check to make sure the compressor kicks in and out. Use the gauge to check pressure achieved and allow that to sit over an extended period. If the pressure holds you have repaired the leak and you can then use additional Aircontopup propellant to charge to the correct pressure. If the system does not hold pressure then you have diagnosed a more serious mechanical leak for the cost of the can, rather than garage labour. Also since our leak stopper contains a small amount of propellant it can be used to perk up and condition systems with slightly low levels but that do not require a full regas.

Works Well, Just Brutally Expensive
Always works well just annoyingly expensive in the UK. Like 12 a can in North America often on sale for less. As a connoisseur of 90s and early 2000s rust buckets I always need a few cans in the summer.
Easy to use and effective
Had a leak so used dye to identify then fitted new o rings on all the connections (not too difficult)
Re gassed and all good, nice cold ai
If you are a complete novice but are handy doing bits on your car then this product (follow year of manufacture instructions) is an absolute MUST. Instructions are superb, staff for help are absolutely quality – cannot praise everything enough. My old Clio 2011 is now freezing cold – thank you
I was considering returning this as there was some confusion over delivery date, and I purchased another product from Halfords, which was much more expensive.
When this arrived before the proposed delivery date, I opted to try this out.
My BMW 4 series has been losing refrigerant after approximately 12 months, so guessed it may have a leak, There is a great video available for this installation on YouTube, and as I opted for both the seal conditioner and refrigerant.
The gauge that came with the kit, is very good quality.
I did watch the YouTube video, which makes this installation simple.
My BMW had 0 gas in the system, the seal repair can got the pressure up to 38 bar.
I then used the refrigerant and got that can also holding at 38 bar.
The aircon is now back freezing again, a simple job, for a fraction of the price of a professional aircon regas.
Worked perfectly
Used on a mk5 Golf tdi, followed the instructions and used the sealant first. got my AC back for a 400 mile trip in 30c, cool as a cucumber inside the car.
