In the past I have used much thinner cables and been concerned with how hot they get when using on larger engine sizes. I have used these with my VW T5 and have to say they are great, did the job well with no worries about them overheating.
It is definitely worth buying these thicker cables for use with larger vehicles. Would recommend. Good value for money.
Good item
Good item, value for money. Jump started my 1.8 trip engine from flat no problem. The clamps were a bit tricky bit difficult to squeeze, but that’s just me. Cables were nice and think and didn’t overheat. Only thing was putting it back in bag was difficult, but didn’t buy for bag so I’m happy.
Very good for commercial and regular vehicles
Purchased this because I had parked a car facing into a garage and it had died and a jumper pack wasn’t working. This was an absolute brilliant purchase and hooked one one car to another and jump started it very quickly. The reason for 4 stars is that the handle and clip protectors aren’t very durable and one has already broken off. It doesn’t stop the usage of the jumper cables but it reduces the safety of it. The handle bars come off sometimes which makes it very dangerous so have to be very cautious.
