AquaHouse DI Car Wash water filter, Pure water for Spot Free Rinse Car Valeting & Window Cleaning
- The AquaHouse DI Car Wash water filter leaves your car with no water marks or streaks when the filtered water is used to rinse after cleaning. Using a high quality filtration resin the AquaHouse DI filter removes hardness minerals from the water which would otherwise leave watermarks after drying.
- Simply wash your car as usual and then use the filtered water for the final rinse. The filtered water will then dry without leaving marks, with no need to manually dry or chamois the car.
- Suitable for all types of vehicles Cars, Motorbikes, Motorhomes, Caravans, Boats. Also useful for home window cleaning and conservatories, simply clean as usual then use the filtered water to rinse off any residual water.
- Once filter is depleted simply open the unit using the spanner tool provided to remove and replace the internal filter – Please see "AquaHouse DI Car Wash Replacement filter" for filter replacements. Filter life is highly dependant upon water hardness and usage, recommended to be used for rinsing only for maximum service life. *Please note resin is stored moist to preserve it, it is normal if there is moisture within the cartridge.
- Please note assembly is required to attach the bracket and hose fittings (to avoid damage in transit). AquaHouse branded product, AquaHouse is a registered trademark.

How does it work?
The ion exchange process
Water naturally contains dissolved solids which are generally minerals and salts, comprising of Cations – positively charged ions (like Calcium, Magnesium), and Anions – negatively charged anions (like Chloride, Sulphate, Silica).
When water is left to dry it evaporates, leaving behind the residue of the minerals in the water, which leaves water marks when washing a car.
By combining two types of quality resin within the AquaHouse car wash filter the filter media attracts both the cation and anion ions to physically remove them from the water. Because the mineral content is removed, when water is now left to dry there is no residue left behind.
Once the resin is saturated with minerals the cartridge can be replaced, the lifespan of the filter is highly dependant on the water hardness and usage so it is recommended to only use the filter for the final rinse of the vehicle to wash off the remaining tap water, to use as sparingly as possible.
