Product Description
It’s a great item that avoids the need to physically plug the phone into the car (a 2018 Honda Civic). I have a black phone and interior and occasionally forgot to disconnect when I parked. Now it can stay in my pocket. Set-up was flawless but I’d recommend ensuring that it’s sited somewhere visible as the lights are critical to understanding what it’s doing. When you start the car, the lights go green, flashing green, then flashing blue when it’s searching then solid blue when connected. It does take around 30 seconds or so for the cycle which can be a bit frustrating (I’ve knocked a star off just for this), but the connection has been rock solid once made and Waze, Google and Spotify all work well with no lag and no effect on sound quality. In fact it feels a little faster than the wired connection if anything. There are cheaper options out there, but technical reviewers seem to rate this device and it appears well made and worth the premium in my view.
Dispositif sans fil fonctionnel et trs pratique !
Pour l’instant, rien redire, l’installation est trs simple aprs avoir install l’application AAWireless, cela fonctionne trs bien (aucun plantage d’Android Auto et, chaque fois, la connectivit avec le tlphone se fait rapidement). Ce dispositif trs compacte et sans fil est bien plus pratique que de devoir brancher un cble chaque fois, cble qui, mme de bonne qualit, n’empche pas toujours des problmes de connectivit et oblige parfois redmarrer le systme multimdia de Renault, ici RLINK 2). A vrai dire, je l’ai achet car Android Auto fonctionnait avec mon ancien tlphone (One Plus 8T mais pas avec le nouveau), j’ai donc cherch un dispositif sans fil et pour l’instant, je ne suis pas du. J’avais dj test l’quivalent chez Motorola mais dans mon cas, cela n’avait pas fonctionn.
A voir dans le temps quelle est la durabilit du produit car je ne l’utilise que depuis quelques jours.

This little device is great. My car only allows wired connections via USB for Android Auto, which is annoying. This adaptor is great because I can now go wireless. Really easy to install, one page instructions with just a couple steps, all you do is connect it to the USB in your car, pair your phone via Bluetooth to the device and it works flawlessly. I specifically bought this device because it’s possible to pair 2 phones, so I’ve paired my phone and my other half’s phone. You just press the button on the device to switch between phones which it does seemlessly within a couple seconds. No noticeable loss of quality when compared to a wired connection. I use Waze for satnav and Spotify for music and it shows both on my screen in the car. The Bluetooth has quite good range, phone calls are crystal clear. Was a bit skeptical how well it would work, but I can’t flaw the device at all really.
Upgraded to the AAWireless TWO from the original version, and it’s been a game-changer.

I tried a very cheap alternative to this and it was simply terrible. This is more expensive, but it’s absolutely dependable and you can completely forget about it. No lag, perfect connection to various android phones, great quality audio, and small so you can tuck it away. Exactly the same experience as using a natively AA wireless head unit. Buy this, forget the others.
Update after a year. So good I bought a second one of these for the our other car. Still essentially perfect if you only need Android Auto and not Car play.
No More CablesWorks Perfectly in My 2016 Accord
I’ve been using the AAWireless 2 adapter in my 2016 Honda Accord for a little while now, and it’s been a really solid upgrade. Setup was straightforward and didn’t take more than a few minutes. Once it was connected, Android Auto started launching wirelessly every time I got in the car without me having to mess with cables.
The connection has been very reliable so far. It boots up quickly and usually connects before I’ve even finished backing out of my driveway. I haven’t experienced any major lag or dropouts, and everything from navigation to music and calls runs smoothly. Audio quality is just as good as when I was using a wired connection.
I have a 2019 Mercedes GLA and a 2025 mobile. The mobile was a recent purchase but refused to connect to Android auto of my car via the cable (the only option for that model car). The older phone it replaced always connected but the newer mobile never connected and also the new mobile had to have the USB set to allow data as a new security settings on recent phones will only allow power charging via the USB port… So in short it was a hassle despite obtaining information from the phone manufacturer and forums advice the new mobile refused to connect with Android auto.
Wireless connectivity was thus worth a try. I installed the app whilst my Amazon purchase was in the post….
The app was used to connect my phone, to the adaptor although it’s straight forward it’s nice to have instructions about the LED colours to show connectivity was in progress.
Wireless connection to the adaptor was quickly made and then I tried to connect to Android auto in my car and was amazed IT CONNECTED TO ANDROID AUTO, it’s nice when things just work as they should. I had previously set my USB settings to allow data connectivity to my car connection. After connecting to the adaptor I powered of the car and then powered it selected Android auto connect and it did so straight away.
I’m truly pleased as I can now connect my phone to my car as it was not possible before I had this adaptor. I can also leave my mobile in my bag now and no longer have to use the cable connecton. I’ve sometimes forgotten to take my previous mobile out of the car as it’s hidden in a central compartment. There was that time when checking in for a fight I suddenly realised that my phone was still in my car, I left check-in,caught a bus to the carpark and somehow managed to get back to the airport in time to check-in and not miss my flight. Well these things do happen!
This device is a life changer. It works extremely well, is very easy to connect using the app and the app also gives additional information that ,in time, I’ll discover more about.
For now I’m happy as I’d given up all hope of ever getting Android auto to work with my car.
Well worth the approx 40 I paid to get a useful function to work.
As a side note when my mobile was in the centre console it had no airflow and would overheat reducing functionality. This adaptor has cured many issues.

Pricey but works perfectly
A little bit pricey. However, works perfectly in my Toyota Corolla for Android auto and connects within 10-15 seconds. Would recommend if you’re looking to buy one of these adaptors that just work with no messing about and a easy setup.
