A nicely packaged inflator with simple operation that inflates tyres very quickly. Very impressed overall but one tiny issue for me is that the plug for powering the unit whilst fitting into both of the sockets on my Mitsubishi Shogun simply does not work. The plug is certainly tight against the sides of the cigar lighter but am assuming that the central contact is not long enough. Luckily I have a cigar lighter type socket with a couple of cables with crocodile clips for connecting direct to the battery, this also gives me a slightly longer power cable so that I can reach all of the tyres.
VERY noisy but works well enough
I have owned and used many tyre inflators over the years and none of them even come close to my Milwaukee M18. If you already have the batteries and 160 though.
We are reviewing instead this ‘TowerTop’ air compressor which obviously is not even coming close to the performance of the M18, but all it has to do is be fit for purpose and it is.
It has some built in modes for car, bike, motorbike and ball. Also has a custom mode that can be set and saved for later use. The interface is intuitive and easy.
You might have to wear ear defenders when using this Tyre inflator though and I can only assume it is so loud due to it’s powerful motor, so it can be forgiven for that I think.
Also has one of the brightest torches built into a tyre inflater I have seen.
Certainly much better than the RING inflater I also have as it has more features and is more powerful.
Well made using decent plastic and is a wee bit heavier than it looks. Again, I assume due to the heavy duty motor.
So if you want a decently powerful pump that is not too expensive then I recommend this TowerTop.
Very impressed much superior to the cheaper small ones available at garages that don’t last very long,well worth the extra expense and keeps all neat and tidy in it’s storage bag , highly recommended ,easy to use ,doesn’t take a long time ,good quality

I always like having a tyre inflator in the boot because you never know when you might need it, especially before a long journey or if a tyre suddenly looks low. This one feels like a proper emergency tool rather than a basic pump. The inflation speed is impressive and it takes much less time than older inflators I have used in the past. I particularly like the dual display because it shows both the current and target pressure at the same time, making it very easy to use. The auto-stop function is another feature I appreciate as it removes the guesswork and helps avoid overinflating the tyre. The long power cable and extended hose make reaching all four tyres straightforward without needing to move the car around. I also like that it includes different adapters, so it can be used for bicycles and sports equipment as well. The built-in LED light is a thoughtful addition because tyre problems never seem to happen in convenient places or during daylight hours. Everything stores neatly inside the unit and the included carrying bag keeps it organised in the boot. For peace of mind and regular tyre maintenance, this feels like one of those accessories that every car should have.
