Our Dolphin Automotive range of van reversing cameras are designed to fit so well they look like original factory fitted equipment. By replacing the housing of the high level brake light you remove the need to drill holes into the metal bodywork of the van which can often lead to issues with corrosion further down the line. It also helps keep the streamline OEM look of the vehicle and you do not have an object sticking up above the roof that can get caught on things.

Brake Light Functionality Maintained

In all instances our brake light cameras maintain the functionality of your 3rd brake light. Our solution for the Fiat Ducato van which is also sold as the Peugeot Boxer and Citroen Relay is simply a replacement high level brake light lens incorporating a reversing camera making it an easy DIY fit that doesn't disturb the wiring of your brake light itself.

Cost Effective

As your van is one of your largest investments in your business then fitting a reversing camera is a cost effective outlay as it helps keep your investment and you on the road and earning money. Also turning up at customers premises with dented vans does not make a good first impression of your abilities. If you are an employer it also helps tick that Duty Of Care box to your staff and customer.

Extra Features

Where the size and design of the brake light housing allows, we have taken the opportunity to add an adjustable ball-socket for final alignment but as standard all our cameras have been designed to give what we believe is the optimum angle looking down at the rear bumper to make best use of those final few feet when reversing in limited space. The rear camera also offers reversing guidelines, but these can be deactivated if not wanted. Finally it is dual format PAL and NTSC output so it will work with most monitors if you want to use one of your own rather than buy one of our kits. Please note it is not AHD compatible.

You can buy our cameras on their own if you already have a compatible head unit you can plug them into or we offer a range of dashboard mounted and rear view mirror mounted monitors. Please note some modern inbuilt manufacturer supplied head units my not use a standard Phono/RCA input or may need ‘programming’ to switch the reversing camera option to On with the vehicles ECU management system so check this out.

The 4.3 inch dash monitor is sat nav sized and the swivel bracket at the rear can actually be turned around so it would be possible to adhere this to the windscreen if you wanted. When powered the screen stays blank until an image signal is received.

Our 4.3 inch mirror monitor is designed to clip around an existing mounted rear view mirror. This works as a normal mirror until a picture signal is received and which point the screen hidden behind the mirror glass will come to life.

The 7 inch dash monitor is certainly the more commercial looking solution giving a larger picture on a bracket that both tilts and swivels so you can locate it as suits your needs. The mounting bracket comes with an adhere pad but iti can also be screwed down to your dashboard.

The 7 inch mirror monitor is again designed to clip over an existing mounted rear view mirror and has a mirrored finish so will work as a rear view mirror until you select reverse gear at which point the screen will come on.
