- Sturdy, Tall Bird Feeding Station That Has Many More Uses -
Although this is marketed as a bird feeding station, I’ve found it works brilliantly for a completely different purpose. I use it to hang a planter and some decorative garden lights, mainly because I have two cats and don’t want to attract birds for obvious reasons.
The pole was quick to assemble without needing any tools, and the five-prong base gives it excellent stability once pushed firmly into the ground. Even with a hanging planter attached, it feels secure and has coped well with windy weather.
The adjustable height is really useful, allowing me to position everything exactly where I wanted it. The four hooks provide plenty of flexibility for hanging different items, and the sturdy metal construction feels durable enough to stay outside all year round.
While it would undoubtedly make an excellent bird feeding station, it’s also a surprisingly versatile garden accessory. If you’re looking for a strong, tall pole for hanging baskets, lanterns, solar lights or other garden decorations, this is well worth considering. I’m very pleased with it, and it’s proved to be a practical solution for a bird-friendly garden.
Flexible positioning for lower items, good sturdy main pole
Bird Feeders Hanging Station
Its easy to build, the sections screw together and the bottom spikes rotate out. Its sturdy enough for multiple LED lanterns or feeders. Best to insert in damp earth, though you can use your boots to help push in.
Main pole is ~2.5cm in diameter, sections overlap by ~3cm and powder coating gives a neat finish (though the odd blemish on mine). The top hangers stick out 22cm from main pole, the lower individual ones stick out ~27cm. Dishes stick out 18cm.
Two hangers are built into top part, other items (hanger, mesh tray, water bowl) individually attaches with loop and butterfly thread bolt, you do need to slide onto main pole before attaching the top. This does mean you can angle to suit, and can group close to the top of the pole if necessary.
It arrive with parts in foam bags inside an unbranded cardboard box. Basic instructions included.
A sturdy, well-designed feeding station with plenty of hanging options, but quite pricey
My first impression was how well made this looked. I already have a bird feeding station, but the painted finish has cracked and flaked away over the years, leaving it rusty. This one has a powder-coated finish and the tubing is noticeably thicker, giving it a much sturdier, better-quality feel.
I also like the way the pole sections screw together rather than slotting together and being secured with small screws, which can seize or rust over time. At full height it stands just over 2m (around 80″), but you can leave out sections if you prefer a lower feeding station. The five-pronged ground stake is around 20cm long and should provide good stability. I wanted to try it in the ground, but we’re in another heatwave and the soil was baked so hard that I didn’t want to force it.
There are two fixed hooks at the very top, positioned opposite each other, plus two additional hanging arms that can be fitted independently at any height and rotated to any direction using their wing-nut collars. The mesh seed tray and water tray also use adjustable collars with wing nuts, so you can position them wherever suits your setup. Altogether it provides plenty of flexibility for arranging feeders, seed and water. The trays are held it with metals clips that can be bent back to allow removal.
A couple of minor points: after assembling and dismantling it, I noticed slight scuff marks where some of the threaded sections had been tightened together, exposing the metal underneath. That’s probably inevitable, and a touch of black paint would easily cover them if desired. One of the tray collars also had a small amount of surface rust inside it, although it wasn’t visible once assembled.
Overall, this feels like a sturdy, well-designed feeding station that should last for years. The powder-coated finish, threaded construction and adjustable fittings all give it a more premium feel, however, at around 37 it’s towards the upper end of what I’d expect to pay for a feeding station, and I’m not convinced it represents good value for money.
Multi-Level Bird Feeding Station With Feeding Trays
This bird feeding station is a sturdy multi-level decorative and practical garden feature suitable to hold various types of bird feeders.
The 5 stake base is strong and sturdy which holds the bird station up vertically with no movement.
The height is adjustable by removing or adding the poles included.
This bird feeding station is exactly what I need as I have been having trouble with large Wood Pigeons throwing their weight to the top of my existing bird feeder which is now unstable, they’re able to scatter the contents of the bird seed from the feeding table.
I am selective for good reason on which birds I feed in my garden and welcome Sparrows, Robins, Great Tits ( the little birds with the Yellow breast with Black stripes) and although slightly larger, I have been feeding a family of Starlings which visit my garden twice a day.
I needed something sturdy, strong and robust which doesn’t accommodate or can be manipulated by Magpies, Wood Pigeons, Crows and even Gulls which I have had in my back garden emptying the bird feeder table, within hours on a daily basis.
I’m happy with this bird feeder, but it needs to be noted that I thought that the paint was flaking and when I went to pick up the debris, it was actually little pieces of sharp iron filings.
I ended up with a slight injury, but just a pre-warning if anyone tries to pick up this debris with no hand covering.
Overall, still good quality and value for money.

I wondered whether the 5 23 cm prongs would be better than a single pole that can go further into the ground. So I posed the question to ChatGPT. I wonder no more! The 5 prong approach is far better to achieve anything like the same stability l-the pole would need to be buried to a depth of 70 cm. And even then the feeder would eventually start rotating in the wind.
The poles screw together in the same way as one of my curtain poles. And that has heavy curtains to support and it doesn’t bend at all. So it should hold up very well to strong winds.
The whole feeder is 25 mm steel tubing that has been powder coated to give a weatherproof finish. At full height (202 cm) the feeders are kept well out of the reach of cats but not squirrels. But for squirrels height isn’t an issue. For me I like seeing them feed as much as I do the birds! I like that both the water tray and seed sieve can be lifted out for cleaning. Fixed ones are tedious-especially if you have to stand in the middle of a border to try and remove sprouted seeds from the mesh.
This is a well built bird feeder that’s designed with British weather in mind.

Assembly was straightforward and did not require any tools. The adjustable pole makes it easy to choose a suitable height, and at full extension it keeps the feeders well above the ground. The five prong base pushes firmly into the soil and provides good stability. It is important to install it in solid, level ground for the best support, especially when several full feeders are attached.
The metal pole feels reasonably sturdy, and the dark finish blends nicely into the garden. The hooks are spaced well enough to prevent the feeders from becoming too crowded. The water bowl and seed tray can also be removed easily for regular cleaning.
Overall, this is a practical and attractive bird feeding station. It is easy to assemble, offers several feeding options and creates a pleasant focal point in the garden.
Easy to set up and love the upper/lower tier style
I absolutely love this bird feeder hanging station, and it is a wonderful addition to the garden. It is so versatile that I will hang my solar lanterns from it as well as my bird feeders, creating a really beautiful display at night as well as during the day.
It was incredibly easy to build up without any hassle. I definitely like this one much more than the other ones I already own because it features two different tiers. Having those separate levels looks fantastic, keeps everything organised, and provides plenty of room for the water bowl, seed tray, and extra decorations without crowding the space.
