Der erste Eindruck war schon gut: Das Display ist angenehm gro und lsst sich dank der Halterung flexibel positionieren. Gerade die Gre von knapp 9 Zoll macht einen deutlichen Unterschied im Vergleich zu kleineren Gerten — Navigation, Musik oder Anrufe sind gut ablesbar, ohne dass man sich anstrengen muss. Besonders whrend der Fahrt ist das ein echter Vorteil.
Die Verbindung mit dem Smartphone (CarPlay / Android Auto) funktioniert bei mir problemlos. Nach der ersten Einrichtung verbindet sich das Gert automatisch, sobald ich ins Auto steige. Die Bedienung reagiert flssig, und Sprachbefehle funktionieren ohne Verzgerung. Fr ltere Fahrzeuge ohne integriertes CarPlay ist das eine sehr angenehme Lsung.
Die 4KFrontkamera liefert ein klares Bild, und die Rckfahrkamera ergnzt das Ganze sinnvoll. Beide Kameras knnen gleichzeitig aufnehmen, und man kann per Wischgeste zwischen den Ansichten wechseln. Die Aufnahmen wirken sauber und detailreich, und die LoopFunktion sorgt dafr, dass man sich nicht um Speicherplatz kmmern muss. Fr Parkberwachung ist die ZeitrafferOption praktisch, wenn man ein HardwireKit nutzt.
Die Installation ist unkompliziert. Das Display lsst sich entweder per Saugnapf oder Klebehalter befestigen, und die Kabel sind lang genug, um sie ordentlich zu verlegen. Die Rckfahrkamera ist wetterfest und lsst sich flexibel montieren.

Das machte mich zunchst etwas skeptisch.
Ehrlich gesagt war ich etwas skeptisch, als ich den 9,26-Zoll-CarPlay-Bildschirm in meinem Auto installiert habe. Schlielich klingen diese All-in-One”-Gerte zwar toll, aber ihre Leistung ist oft fragwrdig. Doch schon am ersten Arbeitstag erwies er sich als zuverlssiger und gesprchiger Partner, der mich die ganze Zeit leise durch die Stadt navigierte. Ich bin sogar einen Umweg gefahren, um das Signal zu testen, und als ich in einen Tunnel fuhr, dachte ich, die Verbindung wrde abbrechen, aber sie blieb stabil. Ich rief berrascht Hmm?”.
Der Bildschirm ist viel klarer als erwartet; er ist selbst bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung gut lesbar. Normalerweise muss ich fr die Navigation mit dem Handy immer den richtigen Winkel finden, aber hier kann ich einfach hochschauen. Die Sprachsteuerung ist auch sehr intuitiv; ich kann whrend der Fahrt sprechen, und sie reagiert schnell. Einmal hatte ich Brot im Mund und habe die Adresse gemurmelt, und sie wurde trotzdem erkannt — ich musste fast laut lachen!
Am berraschendsten sind die beiden Kameras vorne und hinten. Als ich einmal rckwrts fuhr, befand sich hinter mir eine kleine Sule, die ich sonst leicht bersehe. Diesmal war sie jedoch deutlich auf dem Bildschirm zu sehen, was mich sofort beruhigte. Ich habe mir das Video einmal angesehen, und die Bildqualitt ist tatschlich sehr gut. Jetzt habe ich beim Fahren immer das Gefhl, einen zustzlichen Helfer im Auto zu haben — jemanden, der irgendwie prsent ist, nicht aufdringlich, aber in kritischen Momenten absolut zuverlssig.
Nach und nach wurde ich untrennbar damit verbunden.
Als ich den Bildschirm zum ersten Mal benutzte, schenkte ich der 4K-Dashcam-Funktion nicht viel Beachtung. Ich fand sie eher mittelmig. Doch dann hatte ich einmal einen leichten Unfall, und der andere Fahrer behauptete, es sei nicht seine Schuld, was mich etwas beunruhigte. Als ich nach Hause kam und das Video herunterlud, war die Aufnahme gestochen scharf. Ich schickte es ihm, und er meldete sich sofort nicht mehr.
Seitdem hat sich meine Meinung zu dieser Funktion gendert. Ich nutze sie zwar nicht tglich, aber in kritischen Momenten ist sie wirklich hilfreich. Die gleichzeitige Aufnahme von vorne und hinten gibt mir ein beruhigendes Gefhl, besonders im geparkten Zustand; ich nutze die Zeitrafferfunktion. Obwohl die Verkabelung erforderlich ist, muss ich mich nach der Installation praktisch um nichts mehr kmmern.
Auerdem finde ich die Helligkeitsregelung sehr intelligent. Nachts blendet das Display nicht, und tagsber ist es hell genug. Mein alter Navigationsbildschirm war nachts wirklich blendend, dieser hier ist viel angenehmer. Solche Details entdeckt man erst nach einer Weile der Nutzung.
Das Erste, was ich mache, wenn ich ins Auto steige, ist zu prfen, ob es verbunden ist. Wenn es nicht verbunden ist, fhle ich mich unwohl. Es fhlt sich etwas seltsam an, als wrde etwas fehlen. Ich wrde nicht sagen, dass ich davon abhngig bin, aber es ist definitiv zu einer Gewohnheit geworden.
