Good pair of remanufactured ink cartridges for Canon. As remanufactured they don’t have any issues with fitting but can take a couple of inserts to be recognised.
Cartridges come sealed in plastic bag inside branded cardboard box (though different to listing). No expiry date provided, but this type is usually good for 18-24 months.
A brilliant and budget-friendly ink upgrade
I recently had the chance to test out this XL ink twin pack, and I must admit I was thoroughly impressed. Setting up new ink can sometimes be a proper headache, but these slotted into my Pixma printer without a single complaint. The machine recognised them instantly, which saved me the usual faff of aligning and restarting everything three times.
In terms of performance, the black ink delivers incredibly crisp text while the colour cartridge produces vibrant, punchy tones that look brilliant on standard paper. Whether I was printing out standard work documents or a few colourful photos for the family, the quality didn’t falter. Plus, because they are the high-capacity XL versions, they seem to last absolutely ages compared to the standard setup. It is brilliant not having to worry about the ink running dry halfway through a massive print job.
I was offered these cartridges as part of a review, but I want to assure you that my feedback is completely honest and impartial.

At first glance, these replacement ink cartridges looked promising, and after trying them I can say they perform well for everyday printing. I used them in a home printer mainly for documents, postage labels, and a few colour prints, and installation was straightforward with no error messages or setup issues.
Print quality is surprisingly good for compatible cartridges. Black text comes out sharp and dark, which is important for forms and standard office documents, while colours are bright enough for casual photo printing and schoolwork. The ink dries reasonably quickly on normal paper and I didn’t notice smudging during regular use.
The cartridges themselves feel decently made and fit securely into the printer without any wobble or leaking. I also like that the XL capacity should reduce how often they need replacing, especially if you print frequently.
One small downside is that colour accuracy is not quite as rich or precise as premium original cartridges when printing detailed images or photographs. For general printing though, the difference is minor and unlikely to matter to most people.
Overall, these cartridges have met my expectations and seem like a practical, cost-effective option for home or light office use. Despite the minor drawback, they feel reliable and well made.
Worked very well in my Canon Printe
I have to say that I was very surprised how well these cartridges worked with my Canon Mg3650 which had not been used for several years. The previous OE cartridge had dried out and I did not expect the print head to work.
Installation was exactly the same as OE and the new one fitted perfectly. I was expecting the software to be unhappy about the non OE cartridge but it didn’t seem to notice.
The print heads did a long clean and then produced a perfect test page as shown above.
Since these cartridges are about half the OE price I thinks it’s a bit of a bargain!
Good alternative cartridges
A well priced alternative cartridges.
They are packed in a cardboard outer and individually sealed in a plastic bag inside.
Fitting is straightforward, a direct replacement for the originals, with no compatibility issues.
There was no discernible difference in the print quality between these replacements and the original cartridges with the print being crisp, the blacks sharps and the colours vivid.
Worked fine
This pack contains one tri colour cartridge and a black cartridge. The packaging is different to that pictured on Amazon (see image of what I received) but the cartridges are still individually sealed as you would expect. They are sold as high yield cartridges, though I can’t comment on that claim as I have not yet exhausted either.
The physical fit was snug and accurate. The printer recognised the cartridges without any drama. There has been no smudging or dragging and the ink dries quickly. The black output is well defined and the colours are as I’d expect.
It’s been ages since I forked out for any original branded cartridges. I only use third party as I don’t print glossy images or photographs, just text and diagrams onto standard white 80 gsm paper and so expensive cartridges feel like a waste. After two weeks of use these appear to be decent cartridges and as good as any other third-party cartridges I’ve used in the past.
Dries fast on pape
Printing documents at home often involves dealing with streaky lines and faded text. I clicked these cartridges into my printer, and the alignment page printed flawlessly on the first try. Printing standard black text documents produces crisp lettering without any bleeding around the edges of the font. The colour cartridge handles graphics well, producing vibrant charts and decent quality photographs on glossy paper. The ink dries almost instantly, preventing smudges when grabbing the pages from the output tray. My printer recognised the cartridges immediately without throwing any compatibility errors. The black ink levels depleted faster than expected after printing a fifty-page manuscript, suggesting the reservoir might be slightly smaller than standard. The colour cartridge lasted longer, handling multiple school projects before fading. They handle daily printing tasks reliably without clogging the printheads, even after sitting unused for a week.
Decent alternative to the branded produc
Great printer cartridges, fit my Pixma TS5151 perfectly and the print quality is great as well.
Very easy to install and offer a substantial saving over the branded cartridges. I only use my printer very occasionally so these will last me a good long while before I need to replace them. I am pleased with them and think they are good value and quality.
