Quality cable and sturdy charger casing.
Mine only charged up to 12 amps, but that seems to be the max my car software will allow.
The screen reads 6/8/10 /13 ams on the device, which appears to be correct. It also shows the temperature at the power socket and the ( host) car or motorcycle you are charging, which is useful to know.
you plug this in to a three pin normal plug, it lights up and you set the amps etc, plug it into the car and off it goes, how easy is that. I have been charging it at 10 amps to stop the plug getting too hot. so far it has worked faultlessly.
Brilliant bit of kit.
This is a great home 3 pin plug charging unit. My old one burnt the socket because despite it being a 13amp one it was throwing out 15 amp and melted the plug and socket being a fire risk. This unit shows the level of “amp” being drawn by the car and you can set it with a range of 6A, 8A, 10A and 13A. If say at an old property you might want to set it at 10A just to be on the safe side. Its got a timer to allow you to “start a charge” in say 3 hrs time or to end a charge in say 6 or 8 hours time. Handy as you dont have to sit up and plug in your charger late at night if say your reduced tariff with your supplier starts at midnight you can say at 10pm make a 2 hrs delayed start time and plug in then if you like. I prefer the 10m cable length which should give you flexibility to use the charger if away from your usual home charge station.
Bought this to replace my old one recently. It appears to be really good quality. It’s main feature is that you can change the charging power which is fantastic. Flexible cable as well.

A Great granny charger gives different levels of charge of which I’m using 8 amps to be on the safe side the recommendation I would recommend half the price of a tesla one
