Both cartridges were recognised by my HP printer straight away with no compatibility issues at all. Black prints are crisp and easy to read, while the colour cartridge produces bright, clean images for photos and school projects. Original HP cartridges cost considerably more, so this compatible multipack offers much better value without sacrificing everyday print quality.
Recognised Instantly and Printing Perfectly
I needed a replacement set of cartridges for a home printer that regularly prints letters, invoices, colour documents and the occasional photo, and these have made a good first impression.
Installation was straightforward, with both cartridges fitting securely into the printer and being recognised without any compatibility warnings or chip errors. That is always one of the biggest concerns with compatible cartridges, so it was reassuring that they worked as expected from the start.
Print quality has been consistently good for everyday use. Black text is sharp with strong density, making even smaller fonts easy to read, while colours are vibrant and well balanced for charts, school projects and general graphics. Fine lines remain well defined, solid colour areas print evenly, and I haven’t noticed streaking, missing nozzles, banding or colour misalignment during normal printing. The ink also dries quickly on standard copier paper, reducing the chance of smudging when handling freshly printed pages.
Build quality is better than expected. The cartridge housings feel sturdy, the contacts appear cleanly finished, and the moulding is precise enough to ensure a secure fit. The integrated chips detected correctly and the printer continues to report ink levels, which is a useful feature that not every compatible cartridge manages reliably. The quoted XL page yields should also represent good value if they come close to achieving their stated capacity under typical mixed printing conditions.
The only slight drawback is that, as with any compatible cartridge, long-term reliability and actual page yield can only be judged after extended use. That said, early performance has been encouraging and there is nothing so far to suggest any issues.
Overall, it has met my expectations and I’d recommend it if you’re looking for a compatible replacement in this range.
Excellent Print Quality and Fantastic Value
I’m really impressed with these compatible ink cartridges. They were quick and easy to install, and my printer recognised them straight away. The print quality is excellent, with crisp black text and bright, vibrant colours that look great on both documents and photos.
For the price, they’re fantastic value for money and offer great page yield, making them a much more affordable alternative to branded cartridges. I’m very happy with my purchase and would definitely buy them again. Highly recommended!
Legitimate replacement that has consistently delivered good results
Running an HP Envy 6532e as a secondary printer alongside our main unit, I’ve been methodically trying different compatible ink brands to understand whether any meaningful quality difference exists between them at this price point. This 308XL multipack was the third brand I’ve tried for this cartridge format, and the results have been consistent with the other two — straightforward installation, immediate printer recognition, and print quality indistinguishable from official HP 308 cartridges in daily use.
The multipack covering both black and colour in one purchase suited how this printer is used, with both colours being replaced at roughly similar intervals. The print quality across the DeskJet and Envy range this cartridge covers has been reliable enough for both document and basic photo printing without any issues that would give me pause about using compatible ink for this specific application.
At this point, having tested multiple compatible 308XL brands with uniformly good results, the conclusion is that the compatible ink market for common HP cartridge formats has reached a reliable standard where official ink is difficult to justify purely on quality grounds. A sound addition to the compatible ink options I now keep in rotation.

308 XL Printer Cartridges Multipack
Set of 2 black cartridges for HP Deskjet & Envy. The cartridges are remanufactured, and hence no issues with fit.
Though they claim compatibility with HP e models, this is probably reliant on firmware version and ensuring the printer doesn’t access the internet. So I would switch off firmware updates if you plan on giving them a try.
Can take a couple of inserts to be recognised but no issues with print quality once working. They won’t show ink levels, and you will need to ignore various error messages .
Arrives in branded box (though box and stickers on cartridges differ from listing). Each cartridge is individually sealed in plastic. No expiry date printed on box, this type is usually ok for 2-3 years.
Worked fine in my HP 6532e and arrived well sealed
I used these in my HP 6532e and they fitted without any fuss. The printer picked them up quickly, and the ink level monitoring worked as expected, which was good.
The cartridges came individually vacuum sealed, so everything felt nicely protected in the box. It’s a mixed pack with one colour cartridge and one black cartridge.
Print quality has been consistent so far, and the higher yield is a plus if you get through a fair bit of printing at home. For me, that makes them feel good value for money compared with constantly replacing standard cartridges.
Nothing awkward to set up, and they’ve worked well enough for everyday printing. I’m happy with them in my 6532e and would buy them again.
Good colour and pri
These replacement ink cartridges deliver a good page yield, which is exactly what was needed. While they needed a small clean upon installation to get everything running perfectly, the performance has been great.
The colour output is good, providing bright and clear prints for documents and images alike. The project isn’t quite finished yet, so a final page count can’t be given just yet, but the cartridges are holding up well. It is a very reliable option for keeping the printer running smoothly throughout a big printing task.
