Fantastic upgrade for any car
I bought this 10.26″ CarPlay screen to modernise an older vehicle without replacing the factory stereo, and I’m genuinely impressed. Setup was much easier than expected, and I had Wireless CarPlay connected within minutes. The screen is bright, responsive, and large enough to make navigation much easier to follow while driving.
The 4K dash cam was one of the main reasons I chose this model, and the video quality is excellent. The rotating camera is a clever feature that makes it easy to get the perfect angle, while the 1080P rear camera provides a clear view when reversing. Having both cameras included offers great peace of mind. The included 64GB TF card was also a nice bonus as everything was ready to use straight out of the box. Features such as 4K front recording, a 1080P rear camera, wireless CarPlay/Android Auto, and the included 64GB card are consistent with the product’s advertised specifications.
Wireless CarPlay works flawlessly, and voice control makes it easy to access maps, music, and calls without taking my hands off the wheel. Modern tech upgrade for older dashboards
If you’re driving something a bit older that doesn’t have built-in smart tech, a screen like this is the easiest way to bring it into the modern world without ripping the whole dashboard apart. At 10.26 inches, it’s a big old display, but the widescreen format means it sits nicely on top of the dash without completely blocking your view of the road.
The wireless Android Auto and CarPlay connectivity is brilliant. It boots up and connects to the phone within about twenty seconds of turning the key, so you aren’t messing about with cables every time you get in. Running maps and streaming music at the same time is seamless, and having a proper big display for navigation makes life on the road a whole lot easier.
The built-in front dash cam is surprisingly sharp. It claims 4K, and while some cheap units interpolate that, the lens on this actually picks up registration plates clearly, even when light levels drop. The 1080p rear camera takes a bit more effort to route the cable through the trim to the back window, but it’s well worth doing. It gives you a solid rear view feed and acting as a second camera channel is a massive plus for peace of mind.
For sound, you can use the built-in speaker, but it’s a bit tinny. The best bet is plugging it straight into your car’s AUX port if you have one, or using the FM transmitter to push the audio through your factory stereo system.
It feels sturdy on its mount, doesn’t bounce around when you hit a pothole, and saves you spending hundreds on a custom double-DIN head unit installation. For anyone spending serious time behind the wheel in an older motor, this is a cracking upgrade.
Took the big screen for a spin on last Sunday’s dash to my mum’s along the coast, two kids arguing in the back, dog dribbling on the seat. Clipped it to the dash in five minutes, it was a quick and painless experience, and it fired up as soon as the engine coughed into life.
Wireless CarPlay pops up before I’ve found first gear, maps sit left, Spotify right, with the front 4K camera quietly recording everything ahead. And when I swung into that tight supermarket bay the rear camera’s guide lines stopped me kissing the trolley shelter, minor miracle given my parking record. Picture stays clear after dark which surprised my fifteen year old, she thought the drizzle would fuzz it out.
Sound through Bluetooth into the stock stereo is fine, though the built in speaker feels a bit thin so I’ve muted that. I’m giving it four stars, shaving one off for the reflective screen on bright mornings, otherwise cracking value.

Setting this up was straightforward and took very little time. The screen is clear and responsive enough for daily use. I really like the rotating camera which makes it easy to check on passengers. Wireless connection works well most of the time without too much delay. Sound quality is decent through the aux cable connection. It is quite a LARGE unit so make sure you have space on your dash. Overall it performs exactly as described and adds modern tech to an older vehicle!
Very handy for hire vehicles.
I frequently use hire vehicles on a regular basis and not all of them have sat nav, or if they do, they aren’t always connected to real-time traffic.
What I have found with having this wireless carplay screen is my personal, customisable sat nav, with built-in dashcam and with the addition of android auto, allowing me to use my own sat nav app.
Even with this not being a permananet setup at all, setting up between each vehicle takes no more than 15 mins, that is from unboxing to having this fully setup.
In saloon cars, I’ve even been able to quickly hook up the rear camera by temporarily sliding the bracket up the side of the rear roof liner and the cables tucked in at various spots. Being the only one in the car, having some bits of cable showing hasn’t posed a problem at all, as after use, it only takes me a few minutes to unravel and remove fully.
The impressive thing about this carplay is how smooth and slick the screen responds and the clarity, even in daylight, you can still see the screen.
The overall quality of the build is strong and solid and the fitment onto the extendable bracket is so simple.
Adjusting is very easy and even whilst driving, it remains quite stable with very little vibration.
This unit costing just a tad over 85, is adequately priced for what it can deliver, simple connectivity to your handset and to your headunit with the minimal of effort.
As a prerequisite, just need to make sure you have a spare working 12v power socket in the car.
Great Way to Add CarPlay or Android Auto to an Older Vehicle
This is a surprisingly feature-packed unit for the price, combining wireless CarPlay, Android Auto, front and rear dash cameras, navigation and media functions into a single device.
Setup was straightforward. After the initial pairing, wireless CarPlay connected automatically when I started the car, which is exactly how you’d want it to work. Navigation, music streaming, calls and messages all integrated seamlessly through CarPlay, making an older vehicle feel much more modern.
The 10.26-inch display is bright, responsive and large enough to comfortably view navigation instructions without taking your eyes too far from the road. The split-screen functionality is particularly useful, allowing navigation and other information to be displayed simultaneously.
The included dash cameras are a nice bonus. The front camera produces detailed footage during daylight conditions, while the rear camera provides useful parking assistance when reversing. Having a pre-installed 64GB memory card means you can start recording immediately without purchasing additional accessories.
Audio flexibility is excellent, with Bluetooth, AUX, FM transmitter and built-in speaker options available. I primarily used Bluetooth and found the connection stable and reliable.
The rotating camera design is unusual and may appeal to parents wanting to keep an eye on children in the rear seats, although I suspect most buyers will primarily use it as a conventional dash cam.
Build quality is decent rather than premium, and as with most universal dashboard-mounted screens, cable management can take a little effort to keep tidy.
Overall, if you have an older vehicle lacking modern infotainment features, this provides an affordable and effective upgrade. The addition of integrated front and rear dash cameras adds further value, making it an easy 5-star recommendation.
