Very good Vtoman jump starter and air compresso
Vtoman have a fast growing reputation of producing high quality items (which I am fortunate to have a few of them), and this latest iteration is no exception.
It has rock solid build quality, being chunky and robust. The included storage pouch is equally good, and has a Velcro closure. You can fit all the items into the pouch, which include the main unit, charging lead, jump starter leads and nozzles etc.
In action it is powerful, has clear instructions and operation, and has a range of applications including a jump starter, tyre inflation, USB charger and a bright LED light. Everything works as it should and I have confidence that this multi purpose unit will last some time.
Currently available at a voucher price of less than 70 this is great value for a quality Vtoman jump starter/tyre inflator.
A handy device to have in the car.
This device is handy to have in your car for emergency situations, as it can act as a jump starter, pump and power bank, making it versatile.
It’s small and lightweight, so it can be transported easily or stored away without taking up much space.
It’s quick and easy to set up if you do ever need to jump start your car, as I often do in the winter when I’ve not driven it for a while.
All in all, it’s a handy device to have in the car, but quite expensive at 99.99, which was the price at time of writing.
The perfect emergency power pack for car and camping
I have had a few of these car start battery packs over the past few years, and they have helped me out of a muddle a few times. Because of that, I would not be without one of these in the boot of my car now. I have also had a few battery-powered tyre inflators which, to be honest, have been a different story. The units that I’ve tried out in the past never seemed to have a large enough battery for inflating all 4 tyres on a vehicle without dying.
This power pack is completely different. It not only serves as a heavy-duty vehicle jump starter, but it also doubles up as a high-capacity tyre inflator too. The big difference here is the massive 44.4Wh internal battery pack. Because it is engineered to provide up to 3500A of peak current for starting massive 9.0L petrol or 8.0L diesel engines, it has more than enough battery capacity to run a truly powerful compressor. It handles tyre top-ups without sweating or running out of power.
A bonus feature of this specific model is that the compressor offers dual-purpose inflation and deflation. It comes with a selection of 3+5 nozzles and 5 smart preset modes. This makes it just as useful at a campsite for rapidly pumping up (and packing down) large air mattresses, inflatable boats, or sports equipment as it is for dealing with a flat tyre.
Not only is this a must-have unit for the car in my opinion, but it is also highly useful as a high-capacity USB power bank for charging a phone or powering USB devices during a blackout or camping trip. It also has a built-in LED torch which is useful for nighttime emergencies or whilst setting up camp.
The build quality is excellent, being made from what looks like high-grade ABS-type plastic with hard silicone rubber pads for impact protection if dropped. It also features an advanced Battery Management System (BMS) with 10 built-in safety protections (like spark-proof and reverse polarity protection), which provides confidence when hooking it up to a dead battery.
This arrives nicely presented inside a tough printed box. Inside, you will find the power unit complete with jumper cables, air pipes, and clear instructions, all neatly stored and protected inside a premium, semi-rigid zipped storage case that fits easily under a seat or in the boot out of the way.
Overall, this appears well-made, versatile, and is invaluable in the event that you encounter a flat car battery or a deflated tyre. It is a handy tool to have that replaces multiple gadgets in your boot. Highly recommended!
