A Crystal-Clear Tool for Total Road Awareness
I spent a lot of time on the road, and having this setup in my car operates as a genuine peace-of-mind insurance policy. I’ve found that the 4K clarity is a massive leap forward; I can actually read number plates in the distance rather than just seeing blurry shapes. It is a well-designed solution for navigating unpredictable traffic on the motorway, as the dual-camera system keeps a sharp eye on both my front bumper and everything happening in my rearview. The 5.8GHz WiFi is a standout feature, making it incredibly quick to pull footage onto my phone without the usual buffering frustration.
The units feel exceptionally solid and handle the heat behind the windscreen without skipping a beat, which provides a reliable standard for durability during long Australian summers. The built-in GPS is a fantastic touch, as it automatically logs my speed and route without me having to fiddle with extra settings. It is a practical choice for anyone who wants a “set and forget” witness that stays vigilant while they focus on the road. This system delivers a consistent image even when I’m driving home after a late-night shift, thanks to the way it balances bright headlights and dark suburban streets. It has become a durable staple for my daily drive, effectively capturing every detail with impressive precision.
Cracking dash cam with all the bells and whistles
This REDTIGER dash cam setup is an absolute ripper for peace of mind on the road. The 4K front camera is seriously sharp, picking up heaps of detail like number plates and signs, and the rear cam complements it nicely. The wide angles give great coverage, and even at night the footage holds up well with minimal glare, which is a big win for everyday driving.
The fast WiFi and app connection make a big difference, you can pull footage straight to your phone in no time without any mucking around. GPS tracking, loop recording and the G sensor all work seamlessly, so once it’s set up, you can just leave it to do its thing. The supercapacitor is a bonus too, especially with how hot cars can get here.
Only small gripe is the power cable setup. The adaptor is built into the car lighter plug and can’t be removed, which limits how you power it unless you switch cables. I ended up using my own USB C to USB C lead instead, which worked fine but would’ve been nice to have that flexibility out of the box. Aside from that, it’s a top notch unit and well worth it if you want a proper dash cam setup.
Redtiger Dashcam F7NA
I just got my hands on the Redtiger F7NA dashcam and first impressions are honestly really good. The packaging felt solid and everything inside was neatly arranged, which already gave me a bit of confidence in the brand. Setting it up was pretty straightforward too, nothing confusing or overly technical.
The camera itself looks sleek and well built, not cheap or flimsy like some other dashcams I have seen. The screen is clear and the buttons feel responsive. I have not started properly using it on the road yet, but just testing it out briefly, the video quality looks sharp and detailed, even indoors.
One thing I really like so far is how compact it is. It does not feel like it is going to get in the way while driving, which was something I was a bit worried about before buying.
Overall, I am genuinely impressed so far. It feels like a reliable piece of tech and I am actually looking forward to using it on my daily drives. If it performs as well as it looks right now, I think it is going to be a great investment.
Excellent 4K Dash Cam with Clear Footage, Fast Wi-Fi Transfers and Reliable GPS Tracking
Installation was straightforward, and once fitted it provides reassuringly clear footage from both the front and rear cameras.
The 4K front camera captures plenty of detail during the day, while the rear camera provides a useful additional view of what’s happening behind the vehicle. Number plates are generally easy to read in good lighting conditions, and the WDR feature helps balance exposure when driving in challenging lighting situations.
The built-in GPS works reliably, recording speed and location data alongside the footage. One of the biggest advantages is the 5.8GHz Wi-Fi connection, which makes transferring videos to the app noticeably faster than many older dash cams I’ve used.
The screen is bright and easy to navigate, with a menu system that is straightforward to understand. Footage playback is smooth, and the app makes reviewing and downloading clips convenient when needed.
Night-time performance is good, although as with most dash cams, the very best results are achieved on well-lit roads. Parking mode support is available when used with the appropriate hardwire kit.
Overall, this is a well-built dash cam that offers excellent image quality, dependable GPS tracking, fast wireless transfers and good value for money. A solid choice for anyone looking for a front and rear dash cam setup.
A high quality dash cam for a mid-range price
REDTIGER excel not only at their dash cams but the whole experience of owning one. Their packaging always makes you feel like you’re opening a premium device, even when purchasing one of their more budget-friendly models. Everything you need is included in the box (aside from a microSD card on this -N model), and getting started is refreshingly straightforward.
The dash cam features a full user interface on the device itself, complete with a removable quick-start guide to help you get up and running. Navigation is handled entirely through the physical buttons, and you can even review recorded footage directly on the camera without needing to connect to another device.
The image quality is excellent. As you can see from my photos, I tested it in a dimly lit room and the results were impressive thanks to the STARVIS sensor. Another area where REDTIGER stand out is their app, which is intuitive and easy to use compared to some of the generic offerings found on cheaper devices. Overall, if you’re looking for a capable mid-range dash cam, this is a great buy at the voucher price of just under 80. Just remember to budget for a microSD card as well.
Playback is better than just viewing through camera
So many pros to this. Playback is better than just viewing through camera while in car and works great at night. So don’t go off just viewing camera. It’s not until you playback that you release it’s better. As per picture attached it’s perfect. Can see clearly, which was something I needed since I go home at night and need that added protection. The GPS part is wonderful, so it logs where you are at if something happens and someone questions you. Lock feature makes it harder to delete video invade an altercation occurs. Can access through your phone and can send it to others if something occurs. Has its own WIFI to do this and the GPS is in the part mounted to the window. They give you a window pad to prevent you from having issues taking mount off because mount is incredibly effective. I really like the size when put on my windshield it’s not occupied too much on my view.
Display is clear at day and night. Recording front and rear, that is the main reason I selected it for my delivery trips. connected with the build-in WIFI, all videos and pictures can be sync to phone. Just take time to hide the wires nice and clean.
Excellent functionality
This dash cam comes sturdily boxed together with instructions and accessories. It didn’t take me too long to mount the front and rear cameras though it’s always a bit fiddly to keep everything tucked away, especially with the rear camera. The dash cam has onboard controls with buttons on the sides, menus are well laid out and easy to navigate. GPS is built-in which is a great feature.
Picture quality at 4K is very clear and more than respectable for this price point, night vision is clear as well. Recordings can be made on a memory card though you have to provide one yourself. If you want to keep recordings you have to lock or save them but they can be transferred over wi-fi if needed, the rate of transfer is quite fast. Build quality seems very good and so far it has been working well so overall I am very happy with this dash cam.
Very good camera
I had the previous model and broke up (physical damage, my fault) and that was a good camera as well so I thought I stay with it … and I am happy I did. One difference is that this one charges using a USB C and the display seems crisper. All good, very pleased with this device.

Title: “REDTIGER F7N-N 4K Front and Rear Dash Cam”
Review:
Setting this up was straightforward enough although routing the rear cable takes some patience in a larger car. The picture quality during the day is very sharp and picks up number plates without much trouble. Night footage is decent but can get a bit grainy if there is not much street lighting around. The wifi transfer is surprisingly fast and saves a lot of time when downloading clips to my phone. You will need to buy a memory card separately so keep that in mind before you start. The unit itself feels sturdy and sits neatly behind the mirror without blocking my view. Overall it works WELL for the price!
Brilliant 4K RedTiger Dash Cam
Inside the pack is the Red Tiger Front Cam, Rear Cam, mounting kit and instructions.
One issue I ran into whilst setting the cam up is it will only be powered from the Cigarette lighter which I know on some cars is now removed and instead replaced with a USB socket which will not power this Cam.
The cable for powering the cam is very long and so you should have ample length to plug it in and route it around the windscreen surround.
The picture quality of the recording is very good in 4K plus the images and video can be transferred via the Wi-Fi 6 connectivity. The front cam has an in car camera as well with a small slip screen LCD next to it showing the front view and inside cam view at the same time which is very useful.
Storing the images is done through an SDcard which can be anything up to 512GB although an SDcard is not included which is a pity and so you will have to supply your own.
There is also an app for your phone which is viewing images and video and it very easy to use.
There are many features on this dashcam which include 24Hr Parking mode recording and built in GPS.
Also in this set is a rear view camera which has a very long cable to be routed through the ceiling of the car back round to a port on the side of the front camera.
I think my only issue is the cabling has to be done really well otherwise you may have cables everywhere although this cam is compatible with all cars.
Overall this is a brilliant car camera system that is used more and more with driving these days and is very affordable for a quality product.
Excellent quality dash cam
Very impressed with this dash cam. The video quality is clear both day and night, and having front and rear cameras provides extra peace of mind while driving. The setup was straightforward, and the app connection makes it easy to view and download footage. Great value for money and works exactly as expected. Would definitely recommend.
Redtiger is at the high end of mid price dashcam options
At time of review this dashcam set is offered at 79.99 with a 50 off voucher on the Amazon product page and at that price it’s a total bargain.
The packaging tells you that you’re getting a high quality product. It is in a full colour box with a gap built in for your fingers to easily open it. Inside everything is nicely labelled and well packaged to ensure safe arrival
It’s great for older cars that don’t have built in cameras and the rear cam does not have to be wired in by a professional it just connects to the front camera unit. This particular model does not come with a SD card but they are relatively cheap these days. I use a 64gb card and that is plenty.
The footage quality is very good and I like the rear cam has it’s own picture in picture which also helps with parking
Excellent deal with the voucher price you’ll be hard pressed to find better at that price point. Even at full RRP it’s still worth it imo
