Excellent value-for-money car stereo that combines modern features
I recently installed this 4G+64G Android 15 Car Radio and have been very impressed with it. The plug-and-play design made installation straightforward, with everything fitting neatly and working as expected straight out of the box. The touchscreen is bright, responsive, and easy to use, while the Android 15 operating system feels smooth and quick thanks to the generous 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connect easily, making navigation, calls, music, and messaging much more convenient on the road. These are common features of modern Android 15 head units and greatly improve the driving experience. The included reverse camera is a great bonus, providing a clear image when parking and adding extra confidence in tight spaces. The built-in 4G capability also means I can access online apps and navigation without relying solely on my phone.
I picked this up to breathe some new life into an older family hatchback, and it does the job nicely. Fitting it wasn’t a massive headache because the wiring harness actually lined up with the factory setup without needing a bunch of modifications. The plastic casing feels decent and sits flush with the dash, so it doesn’t look like an obvious afterthought. The screen is clear enough to see even when the sun hits it directly, and moving between menus feels snappy enough for daily use.
Wireless CarPlay connected to my OnePlus 11 phone on the first try and now it just hooks up automatically whenever I turn the key, which is exactly what you want. Having navigation and Spotify right there on the dash makes the car feel ten years newer. The audio output seems sturdy enough for the factory speakers, and the hands-free calls are perfectly clear on both ends. It is a solid, straightforward upgrade if you want modern phone connectivity in an older dashboard.

Upgrading to this Android 15 head unit has made my older car feel completely modern. The installation was truly plug-and-play, and I love how snappy the interface is now that I’m running with 4GB of RAM. Wireless CarPlay connects instantly every time I start the engine, and the 7-inch IPS screen looks sharp and clear, even in direct sunlight. Having reliable GPS and a backup camera has made my daily driving so much safer and more enjoyable, and it’s easily the best value upgrade I’ve done for my Vauxhall.
Fitment is tigh
Pushing the head unit into the dashboard cavity took considerable force due to the massive cluster of cables behind it. The physical dimensions match the factory trim perfectly, filling the space without needing extra fascia plates. The touchscreen reacts instantly to swipes and taps, feeling much closer to a modern tablet than older car stereos. Wireless connectivity links up before pulling out of the driveway, projecting maps and music flawlessly. The built-in microphone struggles to pick up voice commands clearly at motorway speeds, requiring shouting to be understood. The display remains visible in direct sunlight, though fingerprints smudge the glossy surface constantly. The reversing camera provided requires running a long wire through the entire cabin, eating up several hours of installation time. The sound output pushes more bass to the factory speakers than the original unit did. Physical volume buttons would be preferable to the touch-sensitive sliders located on the far left edge.
