M5 lanes reopen after vehicle overturns in Gloucestershire

All lanes have reopened M5 in Gloucestershire after traffic ground to a halt following a crash between junctions 12 and 11A.

The incident was first reported by roads monitoring service Inrix at 5.20pm today.

Motorway cameras showed queues forming on the northbound side.

Inrix said earlier: "One lane closed and queueing traffic due to accident on M5 Northbound from J12 A430 (Quedgeley / Hardwicke) to J11A A417 (Gloucester / Cirencester)."

It was believed a vehicle had overturned.

As of 7pm, Inrix reports that all lanes have now reopened and traffic is easing.
