Hour-long delays on Surrey M3 after multi-vehicle crash

Traffic is easing on the M3 northbound due to an earlier crash which left the motorway blocked for nearly an hour. Delays of 20 minutes are being reported and traffic monitoring site Inrix is still warning of 'long delays'.

In its most recent update from 8.35am, Inrix said: "Long delays due to accident, now on the hard shoulder on M3 Northbound at J3 A322 (Lightwater / Bagshot). Congestion to J4 (Frimley).

A322 delays back past Bagshot to Bracknell, and heavy on the A30 through Camberley.

After being blocked at 07:00 until 07:50."
