Product Description

Fast, Convenient, and Very Handy Card Reade
This USB 3.0 micro SD card reader is a really useful little accessory that does exactly what it promises. It’s compact, easy to carry, and works well for quickly accessing files from both SD and micro SD cards. If you regularly transfer photos, videos, or other files, this makes the process much easier and more convenient.
The 2-in-1 design is one of the best features because it gives you flexibility without needing multiple adapters. It’s nice to have one small device that can handle different card types, especially if you use a variety of memory cards for cameras, phones, or other devices. The transfer speed feels fast and efficient, which is a big plus when working with larger files.
I also appreciate how simple it is to use. Just plug it in, insert the card, and it’s ready to go. That kind of straightforward functionality is exactly what you want from a card reader. The compact size also makes it easy to keep in a laptop bag, camera case, or desk drawer without taking up much space.
Overall, this is a practical and reliable card reader for everyday use. If you need a portable, versatile, and easy-to-use adapter for SD and micro SD cards, this is a solid choice.
Fast, Compact Card Reader with Broad Compatibility
This USB 3.0 2-in-1 SD and microSD card reader is a practical tool for quickly accessing photos, videos, and files across a range of devices. With support for standard SD and microSD formats—including SDXC and UHS-I—it covers most everyday storage needs for cameras, drones, and mobile devices.
Performance is a strong point. With up to 5Gbps transfer speeds via USB 3.0, it handles file transfers efficiently, especially for larger media files. It’s a noticeable step up from older USB 2.0 readers, making it useful for photographers or anyone moving data frequently.
The compact, plug-and-play design adds to its convenience. It works across multiple platforms, including Android devices and newer iPhones (with USB-C), without requiring additional drivers. It’s small enough to carry in a pocket or laptop bag, making it travel-friendly.
Dual card slots are helpful, though it’s worth noting that many readers in this category don’t support simultaneous reading of both cards at full speed, so performance may vary if both are inserted.
On the downside, build quality is functional but not premium. It’s lightweight, which is great for portability, but may not hold up as well under heavy, repeated use. Also, maximum speeds depend on the card itself—slower cards won’t take full advantage of the reader’s capabilities.
Overall, this is a reliable, budget-friendly card reader that delivers good speed and wide compatibility. It’s best suited for everyday file transfers and on-the-go use rather than heavy-duty professional workflows.
also depends on the card
I was able to load files to my linux desktop with this adapter without installing any other software, it was plug and play. One important thing to keep in mind is you need a USB 3 port and to also consider the speed of the card. I used a USB 3.2 port, but the SD card I was testing with was old, so I only got about 5MB/s, which is much below the 5gbps advertised. I believe this is more a function of the storage medium than this adapter.
The adapter is comfortable and easy to use, I like that the cap can swing back and sort of protect the card inside of it. It is a little larger than others, so it may sort of take up the side of another port. Most real computers have many usb ports, so this is likely not an issue, it certainly was not for me. There were 2 slots, one for micro-sd and one for SD, I did not test both at the same time, but I don’t think that is a very common use case. I think this adapter is of good value if you are in need of one. I also like that there is a big bright blue light when connected, it makes it easier to tell what is going on.
Works great for what it's built for just ignore the compatibility claims
I picked this up specifically to transfer drone footage and photos to my computer, and for that purpose it does exactly what I need. It reads both SD and Micro SD cards without any fuss, and the 5Gbps USB 3.0 speeds are genuinely noticeable when you’re moving large video files. I tested it across Mac, Linux, and Windows and it worked plug-and-play on all three — no drivers, no setup, just insert and go.
That said, I’m knocking off one star for the misleading compatibility claims on the listing. It advertises iPhone and Android support, but this is a USB-A device. Neither modern iPhones nor current Android phones ship with USB-A ports — they’re all USB-C at this point. So unless you’re using a separate adapter on top of this adapter, that claim doesn’t hold up. It’s a small thing, but inaccurate listings are a pet peeve of mine, especially when someone might buy this specifically for mobile use and end up disappointed.
Bottom line: if you’re a drone shooter or photographer who wants a fast, reliable card reader for a desktop or laptop, this is a solid pick. Just don’t buy it expecting native phone compatibility.
Simple and Gets the Job Done
Quick heads-up: this won’t plug into an iPhone—it uses a USB-A connection, so it’s meant for computers, not phones.
What you’re getting here is pretty straightforward: a microSD card paired with a USB-A SD card adapter. The build is basic plastic, nothing fancy, but it’s designed for a simple purpose—giving you an easy way to read SD or microSD cards on a laptop or desktop that doesn’t have a built-in card reader.
Performance-wise, it works exactly as expected. No setup issues, no weird behavior—just plug it in and it does its job.
I keep this in my travel setup since it’s small, lightweight, and useful when I need quick access to storage on the go.
Compact card reader with straightforward setup
This USB 3.0 card reader was ordered for transferring files from SD and micro SD cards. The compact design makes it easy to carry and store.
The reader supports a wide range of card formats and the plug-and-play setup keeps things simple. The USB 3.0 connection is a useful feature for faster data transfer.
Overall, this is a practical and easy-to-use card reader for everyday file access and transfers. However it doesn’t use the faster USB-C protocol.
Only works with one card at a time
I like the idea of this card reader. You’re effectively turning an SD card into a USB memory stick. This is great if you have some spare memory cards lying around and want to use them for storeage or everyday use. The card does a good job of protecting them and preventing them getting lost too.
The build quality of the reader is fine. It’s made from plastic but it’s fit for purpose and should be durable enough for normal useage. The one I received looks slightly different to the product photos in that it’s unbranded.
I’m using the reader with Windows 11 and it’s recognised immediately so very easy to use and compatible. Inserting memory cards into things is always a bit tricky as it has to be put in the correct way around and there’s never a way to tell, except for trial and error, which way it is. However once the card is in it works fine.
Something that I wasn’t sure about was, since it has space for 2 cards, would it work with 2 cards at the same time. Unfortunately it doesn’t. You can only have one card in at a time or it doesn’t work at all.
As far as value goes 8.99 is pretty much comparable with other similar readers. So good value. However the advantage pf this one is that the memory card is completey protected and not sticking out.
Overall I’m happy very happy with this card reader. It’s a handy little device.
