Entirely a positive experience. Great product, solid connectivity.
I got my first ever Carplay/Android Auto screen from this seller and it’s still going strong over two years later.
This 3 channel premium screen is a big upgrade for me though and it takes their signature solid connectivity and adds some serious features and hardware.
I’m using it in my Jeep commander so it’s a great shape for my dash. The wide aspect ratio means I can easily use a split screen (I usually have maps running with Spotify) without blocking my view of the road.
It’s easy to see in the sun and it auto brightens at night so it doesn’t blind me.
The CarPlay system and the Android auto are both very stable. I use CarPlay and my other half is the Android user.
They boot up and connect very quickly. It doesn’t crash, it doesn’t lag and it doesn’t freeze.
The camera system is far better than I expected.
The rear 1080p camera takes time to fit mainly down to hiding the cables and some basic car knowledge is required.
The front camera is 4k and can easily capture number plates, deal with headlights, and since a 64GB SD card is included storage isn’t an issue.
You don’t need to remove the card to grab the footage you can use the Viidure app and connect to the device and choose the clips you want to transfer to your phone.
The camera can spin 180 and be adjusted and angled, and it took me a little while to realise that this means I could angle the screen towards me while the camera faced forward.
The infrared camera is ideal for checking on the grandkids and is much safer than turning round. I thought it’d be great for a taxi driver.
It has decent onboard speakers but I’m running it through an unused FM channel to my car speakers as my car doesn’t even have an aux. You can connect via BT too.
I love my old jeep but it’s just not worth spending a fortune on it. This unit gives me everything I need and more.
My experience with this product (and the previous one) has been entirely positive, and I’m delighted.
