Product Description

Great print quality, long life, and zero compatibility issues
I’ve tried a fair few thirdparty cartridges over the years, and these 560XL/561XL highcapacity compatibles are easily among the most reliable. They slot straight into the printer, get recognised instantly, and deliver the kind of print quality you’d expect from the originals — just without the painful price tag.
Print Quality
The black 560XL cartridge produces crisp, dark text with no smudging or fading, even on cheaper paper.
The 561XL colour cartridge is surprisingly vibrant — photos, labels, and colour documents all come out clean and consistent. No streaks, no patchy areas, no weird colour shifts.
High Capacity That Actually Lasts
A lot of “XL” cartridges barely last longer than the standard ones, but these genuinely do.
If you print regularly — invoices, schoolwork, forms, the usual — you’ll notice the difference. The ink level drops slowly and predictably, which is exactly what you want.
Compatibility & Reliability
Installed with zero drama.
No error messages
No “unrecognised cartridge” warnings
No leaks or clogging
They just work, which is more than I can say for some other brands I’ve tried.
Value for Money
This is where they shine. You get OEMlevel performance at a fraction of the cost. For anyone who prints often, the savings add up fast.
No Mess, No Fuss
The cartridges come sealed properly, don’t drip, and don’t leave your hands looking like you’ve been fingerprinted by a rainbow. Always a bonus.
Final Verdict
If you want highcapacity ink that prints well, lasts ages, and doesn’t cause compatibility headaches, these 560XL/561XL compatibles are a smart, costeffective choice. I’ll be sticking with them.
Good everyday cartridges without the hefty price tag
These replacement cartridges worked better than expected and saved a decent bit compared to buying the official Canon versions.
Installation was quick and straightforward. The printer recognised both cartridges without much fuss, which already puts them ahead of some compatible inks I’ve tried in the past. Print quality has been very solid for everyday home use, with sharp black text and colours that come out bright and clean.
I’ve mainly used them for documents, labels, school bits and the occasional photo print, and everything has looked perfectly respectable. Photos are not quite professional print shop quality, but more than good enough for casual use and family pictures.
The XL capacity is definitely worth it as well. Standard cartridges seem to disappear almost immediately, especially once colour printing gets involved. These appear to last noticeably longer.
No leaks, streaks or strange lines so far, and pages dry properly without smearing. Overall, they’ve been reliable and easy to use.
Pros
Easy installation and printer recognition
Sharp text and good colour quality
XL capacity lasts longer
Good value compared to originals
No leaking or smudging issues so far
Cons
Occasional compatible cartridge warnings may appear
Photo prints are good but not professional grade
Very good
I was pleasantly surprised by these 560XL / 561XL replacement cartridges. Installation was quick and the printer recognised them straight away with no error messages. The black ink prints sharp text, while the colour cartridge produces vibrant and clean images for everyday documents and photos.
The XL capacity is a big plus, especially if you print regularly, as it lasts noticeably longer than standard cartridges. Compatibility with the Canon PIXMA TS5350 and TS7450 series was spot on. Print quality is very close to the original Canon cartridges but at a much more affordable price.
Overall, a reliable and cost-effective alternative for home or office printing.
A Price to Please the Pocket: Hallolux PG560/CL561 Cartridges Rescue a Weary Printe
My relationship with my printer had reached a rancorous impasse, a state of affairs brought on entirely by the financial extortion of Canon’s smart ink subscription service, at least,. That’s what it felt like. Having finally severed those corporate strings, I found myself staring at a fairly faded, printed page until this pair of Hallolux cartridges arrived to fill the void – OK, so the subscription service did have its benefits, I will admit that. For 35.99, you receive a two-pack containing one black and one colour cartridge, an outlay that is considerably cheaper than the subscription alternative and far less prone to monthly micro-transactions.
The installation process is a brief, three-step lark that requires no tools and very little patience, thankfully. Just remove the protective cover, gently tear off the orange pull tape thingy, and insert the cartridges into the carriage of the printer. The fit is a standard plastic-to-plastic affair, and it slotted into the housing with a decent enough thud, though they do caution not to touch the copper chip or the nozzle during the process – something I never seem to be able to avoid doing, and never had a issue afterwards.
Once installed, the machine recognised the components without the usual digital sulk of third party cartridges, and the printing quality is genuinely indistinguishable from the original manufacturer’s output – as far as I can recall! The black ink delivers a sharp, distinct text that doesn’t bleed into the grain, and the colour cartridge produces images with a reasonable vividness, which is a relief given how some cheap inks can leave a document looking like a faded postcard left in a shop window since 1974. The longevity claims, well that appears to be 650 pages for the black ink and 550 pages for the colour, and while I have not yet reached those lofty limits, the ink levels are holding up well. For quality and price, it is a remarkably good deal that rescues you from the tyranny of an OEM subscription service, and it deserves a thoroughly enthusiastic five out of five stars for me.
Clear prints
The ink came quick, was easy to install in my printer. So far the print quality has been real good for the money I paid. The kids are using it a lot for their test at present. May need to buy again soon!
Prints very clearly
Running out of printer ink right before a deadline causes intense panic. Snapping these replacement blocks into the machine carriage felt totally secure, matching the dimensions of the manufacturer originals. The printer accepted the chips immediately, showing accurate level readings on the digital display. Printing a huge stack of black and white text documents produced very crisp lettering, avoiding any fuzzy edges on the standard copy paper. The colour cartridge mixes vibrant tones accurately, replicating bright photographs nicely without looking washed out. The pages dry incredibly quickly, stopping any smearing when stacking documents rapidly in the outbox. The high capacity tanks last considerably longer than standard sizes, reducing the frequency of frustrating replacements. Taking care to peel the protective foil off gently stops any messy drops leaking out. It delivers completely reliable performance for heavy household printing needs, managing long school assignments perfectly.
Good cartridges saving on branded
Fairly priced at 34.99 having paid similar amounts in the past for non-branded cartridges. Felt a little nervous about using these due to spelling/ punctuation errors in the enclosed literature as really didn’t want this messing up my printer but all good so far. Easy to install, printing fine, colours fine and print quality fine too so I’m happy. We don’t use the printer that often so can’t comment on duration specifically but assuming it continues to print as it should we will have a long run using these xl size cartridges at the rate we print. Expiry date 28/3/2029 so good shelf life.
**Flawless Performance and Sharp Prints**
Finding reliable alternative ink cartridges can sometimes be a gamble, but this high-yield XL multi-pack is an absolute winner. It slots perfectly into the Pixma printer with zero compatibility warnings or recognition issues, registering immediately as full.
The print quality is excellent across the board. The black ink delivers sharp, crisp text that doesn’t smudge or bleed, making it ideal for standard documents. Meanwhile, the colour cartridge produces vibrant, well-saturated tones with clean gradients—perfect for printing photos, color-coded charts, or creative projects without any noticeable banding.
Because these are the XL capacity variants, they hold a generous amount of ink and last significantly longer than standard cartridges, making them a much more cost-effective choice for everyday printing. If you are looking for premium print results without the steep price tag of the original brand, this set delivers brilliant value and consistent results from the first page to the last.
