Willmotts Transport New 65,000 sq ft Depot Chippenham  

Warehousing and distribution specialist Willmotts Transport Ltd has announced the opening of a new 65,000 sq ft warehouse and operating depot in Chippenham, strengthening its presence across the South West and expanding its capacity to support FMCG and retail supply chains.   Located on Vincients Road within the Bumpers Farm Trading Estate, the new site marks a significant expansion of Willmotts' logistics network into Wiltshire, broadening the company's reach and enabling it to offer a comprehensive range of transport services - including pallet network distribution - to a wider customer base.   The additional capacity increases Willmotts' total warehousing footprint to over 500,000 sq ft across eight sites in the South West, providing customers with greater flexibility, improved stock positioning and enhanced supply chain resilience.  

The company now operates eight warehouses across the South West, reinforcing its strategy to support customers by positioning stock closer to key production and distribution locations allowing it to position stock closer to key production centres, retail hubs and transport corridors.   The Chippenham depot will support both new and existing customers across FMCG, food & drink and packaging sectors, providing integrated warehousing, distribution and pallet network services from a strategically located base in Wiltshire.   Owner and Group Managing Director Andy Stott said:
