Two-hour delays as crash closes part of M6

A northbound section of the M6 is closed following a multi-vehicle crash and a broken-down lorry.

National Highways reports that the motorway is shut between junctions 14 and 15, with delays of two hours and seven miles of congestion.

It added that police and specialist contractors were on site, and lanes three and four of the motorway were shut between junctions 13 and 14.

The crash happened just after 05:00 BST, National Highways said.
