M56 crash as motorists face six-mile queue

A spokesperson for Cheshire Police said: "At 3.07pm on Wednesday 27 May, police were called to reports of a collision on M56 between junction 14 and 12.

"The collision involved three cars and there are believed to be reports of minor injuries.

"An ambulance was called to the scene.

"The roadblock was released at 3.35pm."
